Turkey Claus Swimmers & Parents,
I am excited to provide the meet information for you all and I am so pumped for the first huge weekend of championship swimming this year! Please review the entirety of this email below and make sure you have all the information that you ended for this weekend. Please save this email link and be sure to reference it this weekend. If there are any updates, I will reshare this on the Turkey Claus Remind Group (See below).
Just a reminder to all traveling down - I have one parent and swimmer from SSC that are looking to carpool with anyone headed down tomorrow morning that may have some space. If you are interested in helping out, please let me know and I will get you the contact info of the individuals looking to carpool!

Permit sales for the swim meets are now live. Sales are only set up for Fri 12/1.
Updates: 11/29/23:
All for Terrapin Trail Garage (TTG) Guests needing Thursday access before 4pm should look for available meter parking near the Eppley rec center. Free after 4pm on Thursday
Friday- permits required 7am - 4pm. Guests should PRINT the parking permits and display them on their dashboards.

This meet may announce after 11/29 that they will be pre-assigning teams/sites to timing duties. Please standby for updates on this matter and how they affect SSC.

Additional Meet Info/Ongoings:

COACHES MEETING - Coaches meeting in hospitality on Friday morning at 7:30 AM. Please ensure your club has representation there.

SWIMMER CHAIRS - Swimmers WILL NOT be permitted to bring chairs on the pool deck. ONLY Coaches will be allowed to have chairs. The deck area will be tight so we can’t allow chairs on the deck.

TEAM AREAS - We are asking coaches to assist us with ensuring that we keep the circulation of the air the best in the facility. We must stress that athletes MAY NOT SIT IN THE WINDOW SILLS OR PLACE THEIR BAGS THERE ON THE VENT. Covering these vents directly relates to poor air circulation.

ATHLETE DROP-OFF - Athletes may be dropped off at the back of the UMD facility at the athlete drop off area. There will be UMD event security assisting with drop off and they will ensure that traffic continues to move.
Parents WILL NOT be permitted to pull to the side and wait for their swimmer. If your swimmer is not ready when you pull up, you will be instructed to circle around again.

Spectator Area & Entry- Admission Charge - There will be an admission charge of $20.00 per person. Grandparents and siblings of swimmers enter for free. There is no charge for Thursday evening Distance Session.
