SSC Spring Beginner & Beginner Plus Athletes & Parents,
We are excited to bring to you some important information about the end of the Spring Season, the beginning of the Summer Season, the SSC BG/BG+ Spring IntraSquad Meet, and the SSC Spring Open House. Please take the time to read carefully through all of this information to be sure that you know how to prepare for the upcoming swim meet, re-register for the spring season, etc. This is a bittersweet time while we close out the Spring Session, but we all have the Summer Session to look forward to!

Summer SSC Open House: We will be hosting our seasonal SSC Open House on June 1st at Sachem North 11:00am - 12:30pm! Returning members DO NOT need to attend. New athletes only.

Registration for the Summer BG & BG+ Season: Click here to Register. Returnees - Please be sure to register for your CURRENT group. If you receive a move-up email from us after the Intrasquad meet, you will be automatically migrated to the new group and will receive a communication from us regarding these changes.

SPRING BG & BG+ MINI MEET (INTERSQUAD MEET):
- Meet Location: Sachem High School EAST - 177 Granny Road, Farmingville, NY 11738
- Date: Wednesday May 29th, 2024 at Sachem EAST High School
- Time: Warm Up 5:00pm, please arrive at 4:45pm! Meet start is 5:50pm and is estimated to conclude around 7:15pm.
- All Beginner and Beginner Plus Swimmers will compete at this time regardless of your typical practice schedules. All BG/BG+ will be automatically entered and your events will be selected by the Coaching Staff.
- BG/BG+, please note that the Time Trial that takes place AFTER the Beginner meet is not for Beginners or BG Plus.
- RSVP: If you are UNABLE to attend, please email Coach Kyle at [email protected] and Coach Kim at [email protected] ASAP so we can remove you from the meet. All scratches (notices that you cannot swim) are due by Saturday, 05/22/2024 by 8:00am!
- SSC Parent Work Assignments: If interested in volunteering as timers, job signup will be available shortly. Any questions on work assignments please email the BOD. ([email protected]).
Facility Access Directions @ Sachem High School East:
Directions for entering the Facility: From Granny Road - Take the main entrance road at East up the hill and park in the lot between the Football Field and the Capital Stairs (The big staircase on the side of the building). Enter the building through the doors at the top of the capital stairs. Once inside, take the hallway on your right side all the way down to the end. Parents - enter the spectator bleachers on the left hand side. Athletes - head down the staircase on the right hand side of the bleachers and the pool is on your immediate left-hand side once at the bottom of the stairs. Please exit the facility through the same way that you came in!

SSC Summer Beginner & Beginner Plus Class Information:
Due to the success of the 2023 Summer Beginner and Beginner Plus season, we have decided to once again bring to you all the same structure, offered to provide more opportunity than the Fall, Winter, and Spring Seasons! All SSC Beginner and Beginner Plus athletes will be permitted to attend as many of the 3 x sessions offered weekly throughout the summer! To make this possible and accessible for all, we will be offering a unique schedule & pricing option detailed below!
BEGINNERS & BEGINNER PLUS SUMMER CLASS SCHEDULE
Summer Season 06/03 - 08/01 (estimated schedule)
Summer Beginner & Beginner Plus Pricing:
Spring Beginner 1,2, or 3
Spring Beginner “20-session” program package - $378.00 Tuition, $25 Admin Fee, Returning members, SSC will handle your USA Swimming Membership Renewal after enrollment and bill the charge to the card used for registration.
Spring Beginner Plus 1 or 2
Spring Beginner Plus “20-session” program package - $451.00 Tuition, $25 Admin Fee, Returning members, SSC will handle your USA Swimming Membership Renewal after enrollment and bill the charge to the card used for registration.
USA Swimming Membership = $40 Flex Annual Membership (12 & Unders ONLY), $90.00 Premium Membership
Each class attended after the 20-session package will be billed at $20.00 for BG classes and $22.00 for BG+ classes. There will be an estimated total of 23 classes offered this summer in total with the additional Intrasquad meet on 08/01.
