SSC Swimmers & Parents,

 

Please be advised that the last call for commitment to the upcoming Turkey Claus Championship (deadline -11/26) and NCAP Championship (deadline-11/22) meets is near! While the deadlines for these meets draw closer, we expect them to close BEFORE the entry posted dates. These travel meets are an incredible opportunity to swim in a FAST pool at a world-class venue! That’s right, some pools are faster than others! We hope to have strong representation at these meets by SSC! Sign up now if you would like to be enrolled before the opportunity is lost. 

 

If you can not attend these meets, please make every effort possible to attend the local HAUP Eagle Invite! All SSC staff will be working with the athletes to meet peak performance these two weeks of training! Missing these meets may result in a loss of this opportunity to swim really fast! Again, all athletes should be making these meets a strong priority if their goal is to swim best times!

 

Reminder - there will be time trial opportunities this Saturday and again on 11/20 for athletes who need to swim additional events for enrollment at the Turkey Claus and HAUP meets, qualification times for NCAP, and for group based event completion requirements and IMX events!

2024 SSC Turkey Trot Meet

**HOME MEET- Automatic Entry for all Developmental, Novice, Junior, Advanced, and Senior Athletes**

This meet has been loaded so any changes/scratches submitted and approved by Coach Kyle will be manually altered at the console AT the meet. You will not see these changes in an entry report.

 

SSC will be offering Time Trial opportunities after Session #1 and again after session #2 as the timeline permits. Time trial swims will cost $10.00 per event. Please email [email protected] if you would like to register to swim a time trial event!

2024 SSC Fall BG/BG+ Intrasquad Meet & SSC TIME TRIAL

**Last chance qualifier for NCAP, Qualifier for IMX Score Completion - Open to ALL GROUPS**

Meet info: Warm Up will begin immediately following the BG/BG+ Intrasquad meeting. Estimated WU Time 6:30pm, Est Meet Start 6:45pm

Mid-SCY Season Championship Meet Information

SSC Offers several Mid-SCY Championship meet options for the varying competitive levels, age groups, and commitment abilities in our program. We ask that each competitive team member make an effort to attend at least one of these offerings as our practice programming will seek to achieve peak performance at this time of the season. Please review the relevant details about these meets below and start to make your commitments now as these major Championship meets will fill up relatively quickly when they open up. (PS - commitment to every session of these meets is not required. If you cannot make a session or two, indicate that in your entry).

 

Meet #1: 2024 PV MACH Turkey Claus Showdown

Notes about this meet: This meet is a “non-qualifying” Championship meet. This means that so long as you have an official time in an event, you can sign up and register for said event in this meet! This is a great opportunity for athletes to experience a true prelims/finals meet if they have not yet qualified for other major championship meets yet! This is a great meet for team bonding, is a great environment for swimming fast, and is a fairly easy drive! You do not have to commit to all sessions!

Notes about this meet: This is a local Prelims/Finals championship meet geared towards any individuals who cannot manage the commitment of our travel meets. Anyone with times can be entered into this meet and we highly encourage you to register if you cannot attend a travel meet!

Notes about this meet: Entry is by qualification time only.  You must have achieved the time standard for an event to enter it.  12 and Unders do have bonus events. Qualifiers with 3 or more individual qualifying times should heavily consider committing to this meet!

  • This is a team travel meet, coaches and swimmers 11 and over travel together.  

  • 10 and Unders travel with their parents. 

  • Hotel Packages will be included in individual travel packages.
