Your Guide to Swim Meets

Swim Meet Schedule

Our swim meet schedule can be found on the Events Page on our website, and we update it each season after the state meet. For example, Short Course State typically takes place in February, so we usually release the Long Course schedule in March.

Swim Meet Registration

To register your swimmer for a meet, log into Team Unify and update their availability. Simply check Yes or No for each meet, and use the comments section to share important details (e.g., "Only available Saturday" or "Swimmer wants to compete in the 100 Free"). Providing this information helps the coaching staff with event selection and planning.

Competition Overview

Swimmers may compete in all four strokes—freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, and butterfly—plus the individual medley (IM), at the discretion of the Head Coach. Event distances vary based on age group and experience level.

Relays

It is often difficult to select the top four people for a relay. The makeup of a relay team is the responsibility of the coaches, and there are many variables to be considered including how well the swimmer is racing and the swimmer’s personal best time.  Always have your swimmer check in with a coach before leaving the meet, as there might be a last-minute relay change.

Meet Fees

Meet fees are listed on each meet’s information page and will be charged to your account, automatically deducted with your monthly dues. A $10 Hub Fins surcharge per family will also be applied to help cover coaching travel expenses, depending on the meet location. Please note that meet fees are nonrefundable and will be charged once a swimmer is officially declared to compete.

If you have any questions about the meet schedule or registration process, reach out to the coaching staff!
