Important Information

• There is NO SSC practice TOMORROW, October 7, as the MHS Girls Swim & Dive team will be hosting Melrose.  The swim meet begins at 6pm.  Go TIGERS!!!
• The 2025 SD SFST Swim Series #2 meet will be Saturday, October 25 in Sioux Falls SD.  The meet will be swum at the Midco Aquatic Center in a 25-yard, 10 lane indoor pool.  If your swimmer is interested in attending the swim meet, please register on our Team Unify site or let Coach Connie know.  Registration deadline is Friday, October 10. 
• The 2025 SD WASC Ghouls in the Pool meet will be Sunday, October 26 in Watertown SD.  The meet will be swum at the Prairie Lakes Wellness Center in a 25-yard, 8 lane indoor pool.  If your swimmer is interested in attending the swim meet, please register on our Team Unify site or let Coach Connie know.  Registration deadline is Wednesday, October 15. 

SSC Practice Schedule.

2025-26 Fall/Winter Meet Schedule. The meet schedule is a proposed meet schedule and may change based on additional meets that we are invited to during the season or meets being cancelled due to lack of participation.

2025-26 Fall/Winter SSC Fees.

• 2026 USA Swimming Registration Fee.  All SSC must be a member of USA Swimming.  For returning swimmers, the USA Swimming Registration fee needs to be renewed before January 1, 2026.  This can be completed through your USA Swimming Dashboard (Click on RENEW MEMBERSHIPS).  For 2026, the fee will be $75.
  • NOTE:  Instructions along with a registration link will be sent to new members at a later date.
• SSC Pool Facility Fee.  SSC charges a facility fee per season.  For the 2025-26 Fall/Winter season this fee will be $60.  This fee will be used exclusively to offset our pool rental costs. 
• SSC Monthly Fee.  Monthly fees are due on the 1st of every month.  SSC charges for the following months:  October through February.  Fees can either be paid monthly or for the entire season if you wish.  Fees are as follows: 
  • NOTE:  We offer multiple swimmers within a single-family discounts as well.

Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP).  USA Swimming's top priority continues to be keeping our athletes safe. No form of abuse, including child sexual abuse, has a place in our sport. USA Swimming is committed to reducing the risk of abuse in swimming and increasing awareness of red flag behavior through its Safe Sport program. All adults working with athletes are responsible for creating an abuse-free environment.  As part of the Safe Sport policy, SSC has developed our own Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy.  All families need to acknowledge that they have received and have understood our policy.  Please fill out and return the attached acknowledgement form (via email or hard copy) to Coach Connie.

SSC Swim Tryouts. Swimmers are always welcome to come and join our team anytime during the season.  If interested in joining our team, please contact Connie Dunn at [email protected] to arrange a try-out date/time.

Practice Cancellation Information.  If practice is cancelled, the cancellation announcement will be on our Team Unify web site and Facebook page (Southwest Swim Club - Marshall MN).

SSC Swim Caps. SSC swim caps are available for sale. Swim caps are $10.. Please contact Coach Connie if you would like to purchase one.
