update on championship meets entry procedure

I have been in discussion with some people on the technical planning committee about championships.  So far, there are a couple of things to be aware of when making your entries for the regional and ASI championships:

1.  although it may say you are not qualified for some of the events at the regional (because you are too fast):  IF the event is not offered at ASI championships you can still enter it.  Click to enter the event and I will override it in the file I send to the host team so they get entered. The events effected are:  

10 & under 100 fly, 100 back, 100 breast, 500 free

11-12 50 fly, 50 back, 50 breast, 100 IM

2.  They are not planning on offering the 200's for fly, back and breast at the Regional for 11-12.  If you want to swim those at champs you should try to hit the MSA meet this weekend to make those cuts.  Even if they do decide to allow those events at the Regional after all, you still wouldn't be able to enter with a NT anyway.

3. Qualifying times swum at last year's championships in March will now count as Q times for this year.  The team website should now reflect that when you are making your entries.  It was changed this morning in our system.

4.  Converted times will not be allowed for qualifying so we will not be using Long Course swims.
