Congrats to Molly Brown!

Former Killer Whale Molly Brown just completed her college swimming career at Drury University with their national meet last week. At the NCAA Division II Festival she was given the “Elite 89” Award. One recipient for each sport is chosen nationally for highest GPA. Molly held 4.0 through all 4 years in the Elementary Education program! Read about the prestigious award at this link:

What a fantastic way to close out a career! Here are some more of Molly's impressive stats:

-Drury's Women were the NCAA Division II National Champion Team for three of Molly's four years. (2010, 2011 and 2013.) They lost her junior year by only one point!
-Molly was the backstroke leg of the DU school record-setting 400 Medley Relay in 2011. The record still stands as of 2013.
-Molly had eight NCAA Division II All-American (top 8 medalist) performances and six NCAA DII Honorable Mention performances (9th -16th place) at NCAA Division II National Meet.

Molly will be marrying another former Killer Whale, Jay Brown, this summer and embarking on new adventures possibly in Chicago while Jay finishes dental school!
