No White or Minnows Practice at Genesis -- Pool Heater Still Broken

Hello Swim Families,

Due to continuing problems with the pool heater at Genesis, there will be no White or Minnows practice at Genesis this evening, Wednesday, February 1st, from 7:00 to 8:00 pm. The water is too cold for us to hold a practice, therefore we are forced to cancel.

Families may bring their swimmers to Long Fitness Center at Fort Riley for a White and Minnows practice from 5:00 to 6:00 pm.

The staff at Genesis told me today (02/01/2023) that the pool heater should be repaired "by Monday at the latest," though I will check back tomorrow. We will let you know once we reveive confirmation that Genesis has fixed the pool heater and the water is a appropriate temperature for practice.
