Marlins Board Update

Dear Swimming Families!

As we wrap up 2023, thank you for making the Manhattan Marlins a wonderful swim team. A few notes from our parent-led board:

1) It is time to renew your USA Swimming membership by Dec. 31 if you haven’t already. (See directions below)

2) Social Media Chair: We are looking for a parent to take the lead in creating Marlins social media posts on Instagram & Facebook. Expectations: Post once a week about a Marlins achievement or upcoming opportunity. If this is your jam, please contact Coach Reid Carlson ([email protected])   

3) Sponsorships: Approximately 10% of our operating budget comes from business sponsorships. We need your help securing 2024 business sponsors. If you know of a business that would sponsor the Manhattan Marlins, please make the request. The sponsorship form can be downloaded on our team sponsors page: https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/mvmm/page/sponsors  Please notify Tim Steffensmeier ([email protected]) if you secure a sponsor.

4. We start 2024 with fun swim meets in Topeka & Salina. There is still time to sign up

Yes, you are a member of our team and USA Swimming. To remain eligible for 2024 competitions, you must renew your membership by December 31. Please utilize the links below to help renew your membership before the end of 2023. Your new membership will be valid until December 31, 2024.

Returning Swimmers

Log into your USA Swimming account: https://hub.usaswimming.org/landing

Click the renewal button on your member dashboard.
