Districts & Champs Registration Procedure

Hello Swim Families!

Signing up for Districts and Champs (as well as Sectionals and all other championship meets) is different from the process you know for our normal meets like the Little Apple Invitational.

Districts and Champs will utilize a software system to OME, short for Online Meet Entry. Only coaches have the ability to enter athletes through OME.

Due to this, I need to know whether your swimmer(s) intend to compete at Districts and/or Champs. Then, I will need to know what events they wish to swim. Please email me the events that your swimmer wishes to do at each meet as soon as possible.

Remember, these are qualifying meets, meaning a swimmer must have achieved a minimum time standard in at least one race in order to compete at the meet.

Alternatively, the On Deck and Swimmetry Apps are useful tools for determining if a swimmer is qualified to compete in a certain meet.

Remember, 15 & Over swimmers can compete at summer (long course) Districts if they choose.

The registration deadline for Districts is Monday, July 15th at 3:00 pm.

The registration deadline for Champs is Sunday, July 21st, at 6:00 pm.

These deadlines are FIRM and late entries will not be accepted.

Districts will be held July 19th-21st in Wichita at the Wichita Swim Club, located at the Independent School.

Champs will be held July 25th-28th in Topeka at Hummer Sports Park. Please let me know if you have any questions.
