Swim Practice Update, June 30 - July 4th

Hello Swim Families!

 

I am writing to you today regarding practice next week.

Basically, everything will remain the same with one exception: Friday, July 4th.

On the Fourth of July, the Marlins will hold only one single swim practice for all groups from 7:00 am - 9:00 am.

The group breakdown on July 4th will go as follows:

  • Platinum: 7:00 - 9:00 am
  • Blue: 7:00 - 9:00 am
  • Masters: 7:00 - 9:00 am
  • White: 8:00 - 9:00 am
  • Minnows: 8:00 - 9:00 am
  • Summer League: 8:00 - 9:00 am

Platinum and Blue will warmup and do a short sprint set from 7:00 - 8:00 am. Then, as a team, we will play games and do other team-building activities from 8:00 - 9:00 am.

We understand if you cannot make it or are out of town; however, we wanted to keep a practice option on the calendar for all swimmers who are interested in getting a swim in.

Furthermore, our practice next Friday will be short course yards, just as the White, Minnows, and Summer League groups swim every day. Following our practice, MPRD is hosting their Cardboard Boat Regatta. While the Marlins are not officially involved in this event, anyone interested is welcome to sign up and participate.
