ERIN CIMINO

Erin Cimino grew up dancing at Martinique School of Dance in Richmond, VA.  Having graduated in 2000 with her BFA in Dance Performance from Shenandoah University, she moved to New York and started teaching at Step By Step Dance Studio in New Hyde Park. She graduated with her MA in Dance Education from NYU in 2004. From there she worked as a Teaching Artist for American Ballet Theatre and at studios across Long Island.  At the invitation of Deborah Damast director/choreographer of DamastDance she performed around New York City.  She also performed as a member of the Kaleidoscope Company with the Dance Ed Department at NYU.  While at NYU she studied as a teaching assistant for Dr Ted Warburton, and Patricia Cohen.  Most recently she became a level I Acrobatic Arts teacher.  She has been teaching at ALA since 2013, and at the start of this season will be approaching her 20th year educating dancers. 

DEBRA DOLAN

Debra Dolan grew up dancing at Dancebeat in Cary, NC and attended several conventions across southeastern NC, taking class from renowned choreographers like Mia Michaels, Ray Leeper, Mandy Moore, Jason Janas, Mike Minery, and Ayodele Casel. Growing up so close to Chapel Hill allowed her to frequently attend workshops with the North Carolina Youth Tap Ensemble, under the direction of Gene Medler. Debra was the captain of the UNCW dance team her freshmen and senior years and went on to coach the Wilmington Hammerheads Dance Team for several years. While in college, Debra traveled the east coast with Star Power Talent Competition as a PowerPak team leader. She has taught at several dance studios in North Carolina and is coming up on her 20th year of choreographing and teaching dancers.
