Coaches
Peter began his coaching career in 1980 as head coach of one of the teams in the Narragansett Swim League. He swam NCAA DI University of Maine, where he captained his college team, was a part of the 400 freestyle relay record that stood for 30 years, and met his wife, Whitney. He swam the 100, 200 and 500 freestyle. Peter received his bachelor’s in History at University of Maine and his MBA at Bryant University. He served 5 years as an officer in the U.S Army. Peter has coached athletes from the junior level to the national level. He also has 5 children, who have all competed at the national level and have all continued on to DI colleges. Peter coaches the Senior groups and the Crimson group at WCC.

Erin received her bachelors in Business, at St. Bonaventure University where she was captain and held the 400 IM team and pool record. Erin finished second in the Atlantic 10 Division I conference in the 200 Backstroke. Due to an injury her junior year, Erin continued her final year of swimming at Northeastern University, where she won the America East Conference in the 200 Backstroke and earned her Masters Degree in Marketing while being Assistant Coach. She has 3 children, all of whom currently swim for Crimson Aquatics. Erin coaches the Age Group 1 and Age Group 2’s at Whitinsville.
Max swam for Crimson Aquatics throughout most of his youth athletic career prior to competing at the Division I level for the University of Maine, where he served as team captain and assisted in breaking several school records. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Exercise Science and an MBA.
At UMaine, Max worked in the Sports Performance Department for two years before moving into a coaching role during his final year. There, he programmed for Swimming and Diving, Men’s Rugby, and Men’s and Women’s Cross Country, while assisting with Men’s Ice Hockey, Baseball, Football, and Men’s and Women’s Track and Field.
Max now leads the strength and conditioning program at Crimson Aquatics South, where he has developed a long-term athletic development system for swimmers across all age groups. He also coaches the Senior 1 group at WCC. Outside of Crimson, Max works as Head Personal Trainer and Marketing Manager at Rise Above Personal Training (RAPT)
Blake is a college graduate from the University of Minnesota, where she swam the 50 & 100 freestyle, 100 butterfly, and 100 breastsroke. She was a captain her senior year and contributed to the class that won 4 Big 10 Championships. During her time at Minnesota, she qualified and attended NCAA’s and was a part of 2 school record setting relays. She recieved her batchelors degree in English. Her US swimming career was as strong as her collegiate as she attended US Opens for 4 years, World Trials, and Olympic Trials. Blake has been coaching for Crimson for 10 years, Crimson Swim School for 3 years, ran her own summer swim lessons, and coached for Sher-Le-Mon swim club for 3 years.
Jeanne has been teaching kids and adults of all levels the sport of swimming for over 14 years. After working with the YMCA for 8 years, she left to expand her own business teaching private and group lessons. Jeanne swam for Saint Michaels in college, where she held several school records and captained her team. She is also is a level 1 certified coach, as well as a certified youth fitness specialist (ICYA). She has 5 children, 3 of whom currently swim for Crimson Aquatics.
Whitney started her swimming carreer at the age of 11, where she continued on to swim for Pinecrest in high school and University of Maine in college. She qualified for NCAA's and was the 1984 DII 200 backstroke champion and record holder. Whitney was a University of Maine Hall of Fame inductee. During her swimming carreer, she held 12 team and pool records. She started her coaching carreer in 1984, and is currently an ASCA level 2 certified coach with a BS in Physical Education and an MBA. Whitney coaches Pre-Comp and AG1 and runs administration for Crimson.
