Coach Katie brings over two
decades of swimming and healthcare expertise to the Concord YMCA
Sailfish. A lifelong swimmer who began competing at age 7 with the
Lake Champlain Waves in Northern NY—where her parents ran the
team as head coaches—Katie continued her swimming career at
Clarkson University, specializing in the 200 Breaststroke and 200
Backstroke while earning Academic All-American honors.
Katie's passion for
athletics and sport biomechanics guided her to physical therapy,
where she has excelled for over 20 years in outpatient care. She
holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration/Pre-Physical
Therapy (2003, graduated with Distinction), a Master of Physical
Therapy (2005), and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (2008). She
currently owns and operates Meredith Bay Physical Therapy, where
she continues to serve patients as a practicing physical
therapist.
Her coaching journey began
with the Wavemakers in summer 2018, where she advanced to Head
Coach in fall 2022 before joining the Sailfish as Head Coach in
summer 2025. As a swim parent herself with two children currently
on the team and a third starting soon, Katie brings a unique
perspective that combines her professional expertise with firsthand
understanding of the swim family experience.
Coach Katie is passionate
about combining her biomechanics expertise with her lifelong love
of swimming to help young athletes achieve their personal goals
both in and out of the pool. She believes every swimmer should have
the opportunity to become the best they can be—understanding
that while not every athlete will become a Katie Ledecky or a
Michael Phelps, each swimmer deserves the chance to reach their own
highest level of greatness, whatever that looks like for
them.
When she's not coaching or
working, Katie enjoys spending time at the beach or waterskiing
with her family, running outside, and open water swimming with
friends —staying true to her lifelong love of being active in
and around the water.

Coach Emma brings six years
of dedicated coaching experience to the Concord Sailfish, having
spent three years with both the Gunstock Stingrays and the Lakes
Region Wavemakers. Her passion for swimming began at age eight when
she started competing, and she has loved the sport ever since. In
addition to team coaching, Emma instructs private swim lessons,
focusing on helping young athletes develop their swimming skills.
She is passionate about helping kids improve as swimmers and grow
as individuals within a supportive team environment.
Emma's commitment to the
team extends well beyond technique and training—she works
behind the scenes to ensure smooth team operations. When she's not
poolside, you'll find Emma exploring hiking trails, traveling to
new places, or enjoying quality time with friends and
family.

Brad started swimming at 7
years old as an age group swimmer at the YMCA in LaCrosse, WI and
continued through college. As a Division III athlete at
Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, his events were the 100 and 200 fly
and distance freestyle. Brad has six kids, and has coached all of
them during their time in age group swimming. He's been
coaching for over 10-years including with the Concord YMCA Sailfish
since 2018. One of his favorite things about swimming is that
it is a sport that can be enjoyed at all levels, and simultaneously
a sport that rewards hard work and mental fortitude. He loves
to see swimmers set goals and work hard in the pool to achieve
them.
Outside of the pool, Brad
has spent a career as a professional geologist and environmental
consultant performing environmental investigation and remediation
projects for contaminated sites throughout the United States,
Europe, and South America. He also enjoys upland bird
hunting, competing with his dogs in field trials, and fly
fishing.

Matt Wineriter grew up
swimming in southern New Jersey with the Jersey Wahoos and swam in
college for the US Military Academy at West Point. He
graduated in 1995 and served as a US Army officer stationed in
Germany for several years. As a college swimmer, he
specialized in the 200 butterfly and 200/400 IM. He was the
1995 Patriot League champion in the 200 yard
butterfly.
Matt began coaching as a
graduate assistant at West Point for one year, and started coaching
in NH in 2012 for the Lakes Region Wavemakers, and has been
coaching with the CONY Sailfish since
2018.

Coach Kim learned to swim in
Deep Creek Lake, Maryland when she was 3 years old and spent
countless hours in the pool over the years. A member of a
highly decorated high school team, Kim learned about competitive
swimming from an Olympic qualifying coach who led the team to over
400 wins and 26 section titles. Under her leadership, Kim
experienced the art of dovetailing fun and camaraderie with
discipline and success. She excelled in the 100 back and 100
free and went on to qualify for Western Pennsylvania
Interscholastic Athletic League championships.
Kim holds bachelor's and
master’s degrees from the University of Pittsburgh and works
as a leader of Financial Planning & Analysis at Highmark Blue
Cross and Blue Shield.
Inspired by the impact a
coach can have on a young person’s life and by the strong,
positive correlation between sports participation and academic
performance, Coach Kim is enthusiastic about working with athletes
to set and achieve goals. As an analytical expert, Kim
identifies and analyzes patterns in the pool and works to reinforce
positive behaviors and break performance-limiting
habits.
In addition to coaching, Kim
is also a dedicated Masters swimmer at the Concord Y and can often
be found there training with her friends and
teammates.

Coach Eva began swimming at
age 6 in France and swam in high school at The Bolles School, at
Simmons University collegiately and continues to swim after
college. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Neuroscience and a
minor in chemistry.
Eva volunteered as a
swimming coach in high school and really enjoyed it, which is why
she decided to join the Concord Sailfish as a swim coach. Her
college events were the 1650 and 500 freestyle.
Her favorite part of being a
swim coach is “teaching someone who doesn’t know how to
swim to swim”. She meets each swimmer where they are in their
swimming journey, works with them and always aims to make practice
fun. Celebrating any type of progress at any level, big or small,
she is always rooting for her swimmers no matter their goals. Her
goal is to have fun with her swimmers but to also give her swimmers
confidence both in and out of the pool.
Eva is applying to medical
school and hopes one day to become a doctor specializing in
physical medicine rehabilitation.

Coach Tiana is a lifelong
swimmer who joined the Tri-Y Torpedoes swim team at the age of
nine. As an age-division swimmer, she loved to compete in anything
butterfly, even 200 fly! As a high schooler on Tantasqua Regional
High School’s varsity swim team, she swam 100 fly, 200 IM,
and competed in 1m springboard diving. She also volunteered at her
high school’s swim camp, where she coached kids aged 8-12 who
were interested in joining a swim team.
Eager to try something new,
Tiana joined Smith College’s synchronized swimming club,
where she coached, choreographed, and performed in many routines.
Tiana graduated from Smith College with a B.A. in neuroscience and
is currently pursuing a career in medicine. She is eager to keep
coaching and sharing her love of the water!
