Crimson Distance Meet Report
Great job to all swimmers in the Crimson Distance meet! We saw many swimmers swim an event for the first time, which always makes you grow as a swimmer. As we gear up to the half way point of the season, the team is getting ready for two Trials/Finals meets coming up in which promise to give ESC some fast swims!
Isla Robinson, dropping 1:42 from last year's times, is the "Swim of the Meet" winner. Isla put together consistent splits, great strategizing, and working hard at all practices in the long race. Way to go!
Competing in an event for the first time was: Connor Welch (1650 Free), Austin Booth, Elaina Kelliher, and Charlotte Thompson (500 Free), Elin Metcalfe, Maia Segarceanu, Natalie Thompson, Sofia Tovtyn, Charlotte Chang, and Maecyn White (400 IM).
Lucas Anderson also swam the 1650 Free, dropping 52 seconds from last year. Kaitlyn Bilsbury had her best swim of the year, dropping 37 seconds from her 500 Free. Patten Bilsbury dropped 37 seconds in the 1650, making a new AG time. Aidan Chapman (-14), and Edward Goucher (-6) also dropped in the 1650.
