13 & Over Championship Day 1
The 13 & Over Championships started tonight at MIT in Cambridge, Mass. In the 13-14 Age Group, the 800 free relay team of Hannah Deschenes, Megan Mundy, Kayla Metivier and Tessa Oakes posted an 8:43.11 and placed 16th. Our 15-18 Girls relay of Sophie Kenny, Meghan Gray, Katie Arend and Marissa Patterson broke a 27 year old team record by 10 seconds at 8:20.35. Not to be outdone the 15-18 boys relay of Cj Patterson, Kellen Gray, James Mundy and Zach Bishop also knocked ten seconds of the team record and placed 3rd overall at 7:08.08. CJ Patterson's leadoff leg in the 200 Free (1:43.31) was also a team record breaking Kris Reslow's 2009 mark of 1:44.60.
