LCM Sectionals - New team record on first day!
Zach Bishop started the meet off in style, moving up from 28th seed to 18th place in the 800m free. His time of 9:03.16 is a new team record by 28 seconds!
Day two started with the 200 Free where Zach swam a 2:04.90 and placed 39 and CJ swam a 2:02.25 and made finals. At finals he cut another 2 seconds, swimming a 2:00.83 and placing 20th overall and setting a new EST record.
In the 100 Breast, Sophie Kenny cut 6 seconds off her best long course time to finish at 1:20.64 and place 32nd.
Kellen Gray swam 1:03.56 in the 100 fly, placing 40th and CJ made the finals qualifying 16th with a 1:00.26 At finals he moved up to 14th with a 1:00.19
Wrapping up the day Tessa Oakes time trialed the 100 free and went 1:03.40 dropping 2.3 from her previous best.
Tomorrow we will be swimming the 200 Fly (Zach), 50 Free (Tessa, Sophie, CJ, Kellen) and 100 Back (CJ & Kellen)
