Sectional wrap up

 The final two days of swimming at the Eastern Zone sectional meet produced 5 new team records and many personal bests. 

On Saturday Zach Bishop set a new team record in the 200 Meter Fly (2:14.78) placing 18^th.  Tessa Oakes dropped over a second in her 50 Meter Free (29.15)   In the 100 Back both Kellen and CJ made finals placing 11^th and 9^th.  CJ’s time of 1:00.79 was a new team record.

On Sunday all three boys (Zach, Kellen & CJ) made finals and also posted best times placing 19th, 18th & 11^th.  CJ’s time of 2:13.46 was a new team record.

During time trials Tessa dropped another second in her 100 Back (1:11.43)

CJ finished up the meet with a great 200 IM which was also a team record (2:16.39) placing 13^th overall.

Overall the team posted 8 team records and 13 personal bests.  The men’s team placed 23rd overall with 28 points.
