PHX Finishes 8th at 13&Over Champs

Congratulations to Phoenix Swimming for finishing 8th overall at last weekends 13&Over Champs held at MIT!

There were countless best times (around 80%), multiple new team records and new sectional cuts, as well as some broken New England Records.

Notable swims included - 

Joe Turk breaking 2:00 in his 200 Back and 1:05 in his 100 Breast

Peter Bankes breaks 2:00 in his 200 Free for the first time

Isaac Walker beaking 1:50 in his 200 Free and 4:20 on his 400IM

Zoe Keffer made a Sectional cut with a 1:02.43 in her 100 Fly

Sophie Walker went a 24.09 in her 50 Free finishing 4th Overall, and a 52.4 in her 100 Free in a TT

Alison Murtagh for breaking 18:00 for the first time in her 1650 with a 17:56

Ali Petrozza with best times in the 1000 (10:42) and 1650 18:09

Brian Poon - broke 5 NE 13-14 Records including 200 Back, 200 Fly, 100 Fly, 100 Breast, and the 200 IM.  Brian also finished 1st overall for 13-14 Boys.

Another congrats to the 13-14 boys' relays who racked up two thirds and a first place finish in their three relays!
