Updates and Reminders
We hope that you all had a great weekend! NSSC had a great performance at the New England Senior Championship, where we placed 9th overall and had multiple top ten finishes and sectional qualifying times met!! Below we have some updates and reminders for you!
1. Practice Updates - There is no SJP practice today, Tuesday 12/20/22, please join us at Gordon College. There is no Gordon College practice Friday 12/23/22, please join us at either former BSC, Hanscom or Medford. There are no practices on Saturday 12/24/22.
2. Holiday Vacation Practice Schedule -
Attached to this email you will find a broken down, easy to read and color coded Vacation Practice Schedule!
Please take note there is 1 change, there is no Medford practice Monday 12/26/22 or 1/2/22
3. Officials Needed!! - USA Swimming and NSSC are in dire need of 12 and under parents to become officials. Volunteerism is down and new parents becoming officials has really declined. WE NEED 12 AND UNDER PARENTS TO BECOME OFFICIALS! Please talk/EMail with Coach Dave and review the financial assistance NSSC is willing to offer in the club manual. Then add remainder. If you are interested in being on deck during swim meets and learning more about the sport, follow the link below to start the process to become an Official!!
4. Swim Meet Deadlines -
The deadline for our January 7-8 Specialty meet at Boston College has passed, please log in to your account to see what your swimmers events are. The deadline for all other meets through April 1 is Friday December 30th.
5. Mandatory Clothing - Please see your facility head coach before practices starts to collect your mandatory clothing!
6. SMS Messaging - Please log into your account information and add/verify a phone number to the "SMS" portion. Doing so will help you get updates as quick as possible as text messages to your phone. This is primarily used for our most important and last minute updates
