Updates and Reminders

1. Officials Clinic - Officials needed! NE swimming and NSSC are in dire need of officials! If you are interested in becoming one, Rick Martins is hosting a zoom clinic tomorrow night, Wednesday 9/13/23. Please email Rick for the zoom link!   [email protected]

  

2. Practice Announcements - There is no practice at St. John's Prep Saturday 9/16. Please join us at our Lexington Location.  

  

3. Club Manual - The NSSC Club Manual has been sent out to everyone via Adobe Sign by Amy Murphy.  If they did not receive it, please email Amy Murphy,   [email protected].  Swimmers cannot participate without a signed club manual.

  

4. Friday Clinic! - Practice on Friday 9/15/23 will be a Freestyle Clinic for preterm, white and blue groups at our SJP, Medford and Lexington locations!  

 

5. Meet Deadlines -     The deadline for all of our Fall Season meets through December is Friday, September 15, 2023. If you have not done so already, please sign into the website and click on the "Team Events" tab. To choose your swimmers declaration for the meet, you click "edit commitment" to the right of the meet title. Our first meet is the Freestyle Fling on September 23rd at MIT!  If you do not act on the request and coaches deem your child is ready to compete, they will be entered into the meet

  

6. Lexington Location Locker Rooms - Please do not use the showers at our Lexington Location. They are not available for use.   

  

7. Job Opportunities!! - The pool at St. John's Prep is hiring lifeguards! If you are a certified lifeguard and are interested please email Coach Jeff Fiore,   [email protected]. NSSC is hiring assistant Coaches, if interested please email Coach Mat,  [email protected]

  

8. Required Equipment/Mandatory Clothing - Mandatory clothing will start to be distributed the week of 9/18/23. It will be distributed to swimmers at practices.
