1.  Practice Reminders - There is no SJP Tuesday 5/7, Wednesday 5/8 or Friday 5/10. Please join us for practice at our other locations.  

  
2. College Swimming Seminar!  - Join NSSC on a Zoom meeting at 7:30 PM with the Brandeis University Varsity Head Coach, Nicole Carter! Nicole will be talking about Swimming in College and the recruiting process! Zoom Link is below!

3. Pizza Parties! - Join us as we celebrate an amazing Swim-A-Thon with a Pizza Party at our Lexington, Medford or SJP Locations! Below is the schedule. Please make sure you commit to the event on our website so we know how much pizza to order! 
  • Lexington - Friday 5/10, Commitment link
    • Practice - Blue/Green 3:30-5:00
    • fun and games 5:00-5:30 Everyone is welcome!
    • Pizza - 5:30-6:00
  • Medford - Friday 5/10, Commitment link
    • Practice Blue/Green = 5:00-6:30, White = 5:30-6:30, Preteam 6-6:30

4.   Coaches are finalizing entries for all May and June meets. - Please see below for a reminder on the USA Meet Entry Procedure 
  1. Review Team Events page on website.
  2. After clicking on a meet, click on Edit Commitment 
  3. Accept or decline by seasonal deadline date.
  4. Changes can be made to NSSC hosted meets up to two weeks prior to swim meet date. Accounts will be charged two weeks prior to the first day of the meet. 
  5. Parents will be responsible for picking which day their child attends.
  6.  Parents are responsible for all entry costs, regardless of participation or child’s health.
  7. Once the seasonal deadline date has passed, the entry will be finalized by coaches. Coaches will review and finalize accepted swimmers supplied by parents and will enter non committed athletes into appropriate events for each meet. Families will be responsible for all meet fees. 
  8. Coaches Pick all events for children. Coaches will not add a day to a child’s meet events. However, they may add a distance event that is during a prior or following the scheduled session. In this case, swimmers will be expected to attend the added event(s), and parents will be responsible for the swim meets fees. 
  9. Parents are required to sign up for their volunteer work assignment.
  10.  Swimmers who are deemed by the coaching staff as "not ready" for competition due to lack of attendance or mental approach, will not be entered or will be scratched at their expense. This applies before and after deadline dates. 

5.    Clothing Pick up - Swimmers, please make arrangements with their facility coaches to pick up clothing.
