1. Weekly Practice Reminders - 
  • Tuesday 12/16 - No SJP Practice
  • Wednesday 12/17 - No Medford Practice, NBPT only 6-7pm
  • Thursday 12/18 - No Medford practice, No Hanscom Practice
  • Friday 12/19 - No Medford practice, No Hanscom Practice, No SJP practice
  • Saturday 12/20 - No Hanscom Practice
2. NE Seniors Volunteer!!!! - We’re excited to announce that      North Shore Swim Club will be hosting the     New England Senior Swimming Championships from     Friday to Sunday, December 19–21, 2025, at     Phillips Academy in Andover, MA.  NSSC    would like all our Green/ Blue swimmers to watch the best swimmers in New England and volunteer time for at least 1 session.  **We will need 24 timers to cover each evening finals session. Please email Coach Dave, [email protected] to sign up for volunteering!!!!
  • Sessions begin at 5:30 PM - Please arrive by 5:00 PM
  • No experience is necessary — we’ll provide a quick training before each session
  • Volunteer hours can count toward school community service requirements
3. Holiday Bouncetacular Party!!! - NSSC is hosting our 2nd Annual Holiday Bouncetacular Party at Sky Zone in Danvers on January 15th from 5:30-8:30pm!! Minimum number of attendees to host this event is 90 participants! Join us for the full 3 hours or for part of it! We will be renting out the entire facility and will provide pizza and soda! 
  • Waivers to be completed before Arrival to the party!! - Skyzone Waiver, NSSC Waiver
  • Where: Sky Zone Danvers - Liberty Tree Mall, 100 Independence Way, Danvers, MA 01923
  • When: January 15, 2026 5:30-8:30pm
  • Who: All team/Lesson members and siblings! (please mark if siblings will be attending in the notes section!)
  • Cost: $30 Per Jumper! NON -REFUNDABLE after the deadline (December, 29th)

  • Practices Offered this day: We will be hosting practice at SJP for all groups/lessons and Lexington for Green Group only 4:00-5:30pm. All other locations will be closed. 
4. Winter Season Meets - All meets through March are now up on the website! The deadline to attend or decline these meets is December 29, 2026. You must accept or decline your invitation. If your swimmer is deemed meet ready by their coach, they will be added to meets and you will be responsible for the meet fees.
 
5. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! -  North Shore Swim Club is committed to creating a healthy and safe learning environment that inspires confidence and promotes growth of all athletes, coaches, and parents.  For NSSC to complete this year’s Safe Sport Recognition Program, you and your swimmers (ages 13-17) can help by completing the following courses! 
  • Parent Course - "Parents Guide to Misconduct in Sport"
  • Swimmers Course -  “Safe Sport for Youth Athletes (Ages 13-17)”
These courses can be found in your USA Swimming account in the Education tab under Course Catalog. Once complete, send confirmation of completion to Program Administrator Amy Murphy    [email protected]
 
6. Fitter Faster Clinics - Our friends at  Fitter &  Faster will be producing one more swim camp nearby, each designed to help athletes refine their technique and racing skills in a small-group setting with some of the best clinicians in the country.
7. NSSC Social Media    - Please follow us on Instagram @Northshore_SwimClub and on   Facebook. NSSC also has a special email for parents and swimmers to send pictures and videos from swim meets and all NSSC happenings! If you have pictures that would be good for social media posts, please send them to   [email protected]!!
