1. USA Swimming Registration - If your athlete has not renewed their USA Swimming Membership for 2026, they cannot attend practices or meets. All facility coaches have a list of athletes who did not renew. Any athlete that shows up to practice without being renewed will be sent home.  
 
2. Practice reminders
  • Monday 1/5 - NBPT is 6-7pm
  • Tuesday 1/6 - No SJP practice or lessons
  • Friday 1/9 - No Medford or Hanscom practice
  • Saturday 1/10 - No Hanscom or SJP Practice or lessons
3. Holiday Bouncetacular Party!!! - NSSC is hosting our 2nd Annual Holiday Bouncetacular Party at Sky Zone in Danvers on January 15th from 5:30-8:30pm!! Join us for the full 3 hours or for part of it! We will be renting out the entire facility and will provide pizza and soda! 
  • Waivers to be completed before Arrival to the party!! - Skyzone Waiver, NSSC Waiver
  • Where: Sky Zone Danvers - Liberty Tree Mall, 100 Independence Way, Danvers, MA 01923
  • When: January 15, 2026 5:30-8:30pm
  • Who: All team/Lesson members and siblings! (please mark if siblings will be attending in the notes section!)
  • Cost: $30 Per Jumper! NON -REFUNDABLE after the deadline (December, 29th)

  • Practices Offered this day: We will be hosting practice at SJP for all groups/lessons and Lexington for Green Group only 4:00-5:30pm. All other locations will be closed.  
4. January 9-11 BC Meet! - This weekend is our Blizzard Classic meet at Boston College! Please follow the link below for any and all information! 
 
5. WE NEED YOUR HELP!! -  North Shore Swim Club is committed to creating a healthy and safe learning environment that inspires confidence and promotes growth of all athletes, coaches, and parents.  For NSSC to complete this year’s Safe Sport Recognition Program, you and your swimmers (ages 13-17) can help by completing the following courses! 
  • Parent Course - "Parents Guide to Misconduct in Sport"
  • Swimmers Course -  “Safe Sport for Youth Athletes (Ages 13-17)”
These courses can be found in your USA Swimming account in the Education tab under Course Catalog. Once complete, send confirmation of completion to Program Administrator Amy Murphy       [email protected]
 
6. NSSC Social Media       - Please follow us on Instagram @Northshore_SwimClub and on      Facebook. NSSC also has a special email for parents and swimmers to send pictures and videos from swim meets and all NSSC happenings! If you have pictures that would be good for social media posts, please send them to      [email protected]!!
