Practice Cancellation Due to Pool Temperature and Wind Advisory

Dear North Irvine Water Polo Families,

Due to the extreme high winds last night, the Woollett pool heater went down. As of this morning, the pool temperature is 76 degrees and is only expected to reach 77 degrees by practice time. In addition, tonight’s winds are forecasted to be even worse than last night, making conditions both uncomfortable and potentially unhealthy for our athletes.

For the health and well-being of our players, I am making the executive decision to cancel today’s practice.

Please note that there will be no prorates or refunds for today’s cancellation, so please do not request adjustments. Our priority is to provide a safe and effective training environment, and this decision is made with the athletes’ best interests in mind.
