High School Girls Tryouts Information

North Irvine Water Polo Club

Dear Athletes and Families,

 

We’re excited to announce High School Girls tryouts for new athletes interested in joining our competitive teams for the Spring and Summer 2025 season. Details are as follows:

 

Tryout Schedule:

    •    Monday: 7:45 PM – 9:00 PM

    •    Thursday: 6:15 PM – 7:30 PM

Location: Woollett Aquatics Center – Competition Side

 

We are aiming to form:

    •    One 18U Girls Team

    •    One 16U Girls Team

 

Our goal is to build the most competitive rosters possible. Current members enrolled with us are welcome to attend tryouts, but participation is optional.

 

For athletes who wish to focus on improving their skills without competing on a team, we will offer a separate training program that is not affiliated with the competition teams.

 

Please note:

    •    Not all athletes will make the team. Depending on demand, we may consider forming a second team for each age group.

    •    Team rosters will be capped at 15 athletes.

    •    This is a spring and summer commitment—if you are selected, we expect your participation through Junior Olympics 2025 in July.

    •    These tryouts are for competition teams only, and participation in tournaments, as well as purchasing a team uniform, is expected.

 

Important Requirements:

    •    You must have a valid USA Water Polo (USAWP) membership. Please bring a printed copy or screenshot for verification.

    •    These are closed tryouts—you must be registered through the tryout section to participate.
