Group Placement Practices & Registration Info – Please Read Carefully

Dear North Irvine Families,

We hope you’re enjoying the last days of summer!

As we begin the new season, please note that this upcoming Wednesday(8/13), Thursday(8/14), and the following Monday(8/18) will be used for group placement evaluations.

If you have not yet registered, please do so now.

We no longer offer tryouts—instead, we ask that you register in advance, and if after 3 practices it’s not the right fit, or your athlete chooses not to continue, we will issue a full refund.

Practice Schedule (Beginning Wednesday, August 13 - August 18)

All practices for evaluations will be held at Northwood High School:

    •    Splashball / Pre-Training: 4:00–5:00 PM

    •    10U & 12U: 4:30–6:00 PM

    •    14U and Older: 5:30–7:30 PM

Please have your athlete bring:

    •    Swimsuit

    •    Goggles

    •    Water bottle

After Evaluations

Once group placement evaluations are complete, practices will be held at both Woollett Aquatic Center and Northwood High School. A finalized schedule will be shared at that time.

Parent Meeting – Monday, August 18

There will be a mandatory parent meeting during practice at Northwood:

    •    Your athlete will be in the water for their scheduled practice.

    •    The meeting will run concurrently and provide important information about the season.

If you are not registered or do not plan to register for the 2025–2026 season, this will be the last email you receive from North Irvine Water Polo Club.

Only registered members will receive team communications moving forward.
