What a fantastic weekend of swimming we had! A group of swimmers traveled to Minisink Valley High School in Slate Hill, NY to compete in the Monroe Woodbury Devilfish Aquatics Heats and Treats meet! We saw some amazing time drops and top 8 finishes from our swimmers. Over the course of competition the Mariners had a 95% best time performance from our swimmers!

Our top 8 place finishes are as follows:

Sean Boyd: 8th in the 200 free (dropping 7 seconds along the way) and 4th in the 200 fly (with a 14 second time drop)

Alexander Bridge: 8th in 50 free, 4th in 50 back, 3rd in 200 IM (with a 19 second time drop)

Edith Escobar: 1st place in 50 free with a 23 second time drop

Jack Gehlmeyer: 3rd in 200 free (5 second drop), 6th in 100 breast (7 second drop) and 3rd in 100 back (2 second drop)

Kira Goldshvartz: 8th in 100 breast (9 second drop), and 7th in 200 IM (with a massive 40 second time drop)

James Halford: 7th in 25 back and 3rd in 50 fly

Henry Herbst: 6th in the 200 free (dropping 4 seonds to break the 2:00 barrier for the first time)

Samuel Meszaros: 4th in 50 free, 3rd in 50 back and 1st in the100 fly with a 4 second drop.

Alvin Pan: 5th in 100 breast, 7th in 100 back (7 second time drop)

Lydia Pester: 6th in 100 breast (4 second drop)

Nicholas Pester: 4th in 50 free (11 second drop)

Ike ScuccatoL 2nd in 50 free and 2nd in 100 breast (7 second time drop)

Zachary Snyder: 6th in 50 free, 3rd in 50 fly and 2nd in 200 IM with a 25 second drop in time!
