Coaches and Directors
Coach Miles began coaching with Tigers in the Fall of 2010 as the AG3 primary group coach. In the Fall of 2011 he became the Senior Group Coach and in the Fall of 2014 he became the new Head Coach of Tiger Aquatics. Coach Miles is now working primarily with the Age Group 3 and Varsity Training groups.
In his time at PTAC, the team has grown signifincantly in membership. He has coached countless New Jersey Junior Olympic finalists, including state champions. He has also coached many North East Zone/Sectional qualifers and finalists. More recently he has coached two the USA swimming Futures champsionships and two swimmers to Short Course Junior nationals
Miles Cava grew up swimming in the Princeton area for the Eastern Express Swim team where he achieved Top 16 status as an age group swimmer. He would then conclude his swimming carrer with four years at Princeton University as part of the two time Ivy Dual meet Champions and three time eastern Conference Champions class of 2007.
Cava started his coaching career with the Community Park PASDA team as the 13 and over coach from 2004-2006. Throughout college and from 2009-2010, Cava gained multiple years of experience as an age group coach at the Whitewaters Swimming Team. After Graduation, Coach Miles has worked as the volunteer assistant for the Princeton University Mens Team. Cava has also worked as the Head Coach for the Princeton Area Masters group for five years from 2012 to 2017.
Coach Evelyn started with Tigers in the Fall of 2013 as an assistant coach working with AG 1 & 2 and Juniors. She has been the main coach for AG 1 & 2 since the Fall of 2015. Evelyn started competitive swimming at the age of 6, she grew up swimming for Fanwood Scotch Plains YMCA, Xcel, and Eastern Express Swim teams. Evelyn was a very successful high school student athlete. While at West Windsor Plainsboro High School South – she earned the County Champion title twice and the State Champion title once in the 100 Breaststroke. She then went on to swim at the University of New Hampshire, where she was a multiple time top 3 finisher in the America East Conference.
After UNH, Evelyn went to get her Masters in Nutrition at Texas A&M. She currently works as a Clinical Nutrition Manager at RWJBH - Hamilton Hospital. Besides swimming and coaching swimming, Evelyn also loves being a mom to daughter (Emilia) and puppy (Whiskey).


Juan Sequera works primarily with the Junior and Senior group and currently works as a Volunteer Assistant on the Princeton University Women's Swimming team. Coach Juan has been a member of the PTAC coaching staff since 2021. In his first season with our team, swimmers in the JR/SR group have broken 12 team records, achieved hundreds of PB's and dozens of times ranked 'Gold' or faster.
He moved to Princeton from Tallahassee, Florida, where he was the head coach of Club Seminole Swim Team. He also coached the Lincoln High School Swim Team. Collegiately, coach Juan swam for Florida State University from 2011 to 2014. He was named the 2011-12 ACC Freshman of the Year after competing at NCAAs in the 200/400 IM and 200 breast. He broke the FSU school record in the 400 IM and was awarded All-ACC honors after earning two bronze medals at the ACC Championships in the 200 breast and 400 IM.
Coach Juan grew up swimming in Venezuela where he was a national record-holder in the 400 IM and a member of the national team for 12 years. As a member of the Venezuelan national team, he represented his country in international competition, earning over a dozen podium finishes. He holds a B.B.A. with a focus in Sports Management, and a Masters degree in Physical Education and Human Performance

Charlotte has been competitive swimming since she was 6 years old, beginning with summer PASDA swimming. She continued her swim career on Lawrence lightning, Eastern Express, and Stingrays. Charlotte was a successful student athlete at Stuart Country Day School where she swam varsity all four years through High School, and was team captain for her last two. Charlotte went on to swim for Ursinus College, where she placed 8th in the Women’s 200 Fly at Centennial Conference Championships 2022.
At Ursinus, Charlotte gave swim lessons for all ages and coached the Little Bears program that the UC swim team organizes every year. On top of college athletics, Charlotte was the president of the A Capella club for two years, and and an admissions fellow for four.
Charlotte is looking forward to fostering a supportive and exciting team environment, and can’t wait to share her love for swimming with the swimmers at PTAC.

Coach Lily started coaching for PTAC in Fall of 2022 and has loved working with and getting to know the swimmers on the team! She has been swimming since she was five and has always loved being in and around the pool. Before PTAC, Lily swam and coached for the Lander Swim Club, and she still swims with the Princeton Club Swim team.

Coach Anne joined the Tigers in September 2019, coaching D2 and assisting with AG3. Anne has always shared a love of swimming with her sister. She began competing with the summer league Bernardsville Swim Team at age 8 before joining the Somerset Hills YMCA team. She swam year-round throughout high school, qualifying for YMCA Long Course Nationals, and stayed with Bernardsville throughout this time, later serving as its Head Coach for three seasons. Anne attended Cornell University and received a BS ‘13, MA ‘15, and PhD ‘17 in developmental psychology. As a postdoc, she swam with Cornell’s club team. She currently works at Princeton University, directing its student health and well-being initiative, TigerWell. Anne continues swimming (she still favors fly and back), training and racing with Somerset County YMCA Masters and occasionally with Princeton Area Masters, and running with Princeton Run Club. Anne is excited to support PTAC swimmers by encouraging their consistent effort and sharing her love of learning and swimming!

Lee started as an assistant coach for AG1 and AG2/D2 in 2023. Lee was an avid swimmer all throughout childhood, and was captain of his highschool Varsity swim team and waterpolo team. He is currently a graduate student at Princeton, pursuing his Masters in Architecture, and loves the energy that AG1 & 2 bring to his otherwise grueling days!

Abby started coaching with PTAC in the fall of 2022 and has loved every minute she has spent on deck with the Tigers. While her full-time job is as the head coach of the women's team at Princeton, the part of her week that brings her greatest joy is working with AG3 and seeing their love for the sport of swimming.

Maddie joined PTAC as an assistant coach in the fall of 2022 and is currently in her junior year at Princeton University. She enjoys working with kids of all ages to share her love for the sport. She was the captain of her high school swim team and now practices and competes casually with the Princeton club swim team.



Coach Miye has been with PTAC since 2018. She works primarily with the AG1, AG2 and AG3 groups. She loves working with our age group athletes helping them develop as swimmers. She began swimming when she was 7 years old and has been a part of the sport ever since. Miye swam at Worcester Polytechnic Institute and continued swimming after graduation with various master’s teams. Outside of PTAC Coach Miye, can be found walking and playing with her dog, Mushu.

Coach Katlyn joined the Tigers in the Spring of 2016 as a coach for the Varsity group. Katlyn began her swimming career at the age of 11 with Lawrenceville Swimming Association (LSA) and Lawrence Lightning. After her time at Lawrence Lightning, she swam for the Notre Dame High School swim team where she was a 4-year letter winner and team captain. After high school, Katlyn continued her swimming career at Rider University where she specialized in sprint freestyle events, highlighted by a second place finish in the 50 free at the 2013 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Championships.
Katlyn started her coaching career in 2008 with the LSA. After two-years with her former summer team, she spent the next four years as an assistant coach with Lawrence Lightning.
Katlyn now works as a Manager for Baker Tilly’s Risk and Internal Audit practice in Philadelphia, PA. She currently resides in Ewing, NJ with her dog, Mikey.
Later, Jocelyn went to the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she continued to swim as a Division I athlete while studying Chemical Engineering as an undergraduate. She gained school records in the 100, 200 fly and 200 IM and was a multiple time finalist in the Atlantic 10 Conference. In her fifth year at UMass, Jocelyn assisted coaching the UMass Women’s team where she gained experience coaching swimming at a collegiate level.
After graduating in 2017, Jocelyn came back to Princeton Tigers where she now helps coach primarily AG1/AG2 and continues to share her knowledge and love for the sport with young swimmers

Coach Ansie started swimming when she was 5 and has loved it ever since! She has coached club, high school and collegiate level athletes the past 25 years. She qualified for the 1980 Olympic Trials in 100 and 200 backstroke and represented the US in 1981 against the former USSR. She swam for University of Virginia and now enjoys open water swimming.
Coach Ansie has been a private wealth advisor for the past 25 years, taking time to raise her 3 children and be an expat with her family in Hong King and London. Coach Ansie and her family lives in Lawrenceville and enjoys masters swimming, walking her rescue dog Red, volunteering on the Advisory board of WomanSpace, and cheering at her youngest daughter's water polo games.
