The Freehold-Old Bridge YMCA swim team is a year-round competitive swim program for young men and women ages 6- 18 years old. Age for the spring season is determined by the child’s age as of August 1st , 2019. Children who “age up” on or before 8/1/2019 must try out for the next age group. For example, a child who swims as an 8 year old during the winter will have to try out as a 9 year old if their birthday is on or before 8/1/2019. All swimmers will be required to complete a tryout registration form prior to or at the time of tryout.

COST: $5/Swimmer – To be paid at the time of tryout.

EXPECTATIONS:

8/Under Swimmers – swim a lap of freestyle and backstroke, as well as a lap of either breaststroke or butterfly.

9-10 Swimmers – swim 50 yards of each freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly.

11-12 Swimmers – swim 50 yards of each freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke and butterfly, as well as have prior competitive swimming experience.

13/Over Swimmers – swim 100 yards of each freestyle and backstroke, 50 yards of each breaststroke and butterfly. Prior competitive swimming experience is strongly encouraged

TUESDAY 03/19 @ FREEHOLD YMCA

8/Under – 5:00-5:45pm 9/10 – 5:45-6:30pm 11/12 – 6:30-7:15pm 13/Over – 7:15-8:00pm

SATURDAY 03/30 @ FREEHOLD YMCA

8/Under – 1:00-1:45pm 9/10 – 1:45-2:30pm 11/12 – 2:30-3:15pm 13/Over – 3:15-4:00p
