Bridget Scholljegerdes

Bridget started gymnastics at age 9 and "retired" following level 9 Regionals.  Bridget attended the University of Missouri, where she obtained a degree in physical therapy.  She then moved to Wyoming where she worked as a physical therapist in Laramie and returned to the sport of gymnastics as an adult gymnast at the Wyoming School of Gymnastics.  She served as an assistant coach and choreographed floor and beam routines, taught ballet, strength and conditioning of gymnasts, event coaching floor and beam.  It was in Wyoming where she started her judging career.  Then in 2006, she moved to Mandan, North Dakota and continued as a physical therapist as well as took a job as the assistant team coach at Dakota Stars Gymnastics, where she was a choreographer, taught ballet and event coached until she  transitioned to the head coach position in 2008.  In this position she managed schedules, hosted 2 meets per year including ND state meet and became a certified meet director, attended national and regional congresses and judges trainings.  Bridget was elected to the ND Gymnastics State Board.

In 2013, Bridget moved to Las Cruces and obtained a physical therapy position at Southwest Sport and Spine / Fyzical.  She was the head coach of Zero Gravity Gymnastics from 2013 to 2020.  In March 2020, she purchased the gym along with Coach Chris, which is now known as Elevate Gymnastics and Athletics.  Bridget's desire is not only to bring the discipline and technical aspects of gymnastics to her students but to elevate their love of the sport, encourage a strong work ethic, cultivate goal setting, foster leadership, and finally she wants everyone to have fun!
