Ashley Turin

CONTEMPORARY DANCE, COLLABORATIVE MEMBER

Ashley Turin holds a BFA in Theater from Ohio University, but it all started at age 7, when she began dancing. Throughout her teen years she had the privilege of training with the amazing Brooke Paulsen-Zelus (Dancemakers), Gregg Russell (Co. Dance and Tapsounds Underground), and famous choreographer, before she was famous, Mandy Moore (So You Think You Can Dance and La La Land). Since moving to Taos in 2013, Ashley has had the opportunity to work with Teatro Serpiente directing Moon Over Buffalo and acting in several of their productions. Some of her favorites include, Gorilla Romance, Measure for Measure and MacBeth. She has also served as choreographer for Working Class Theatre’s Little Shop of Horrors and Much Ado About Nothing. After taking some time away to get married and travel with her wonderful husband Dan, she returns to Taos with enthusiasm and a renewed passion for teaching dance. Ashley is thrilled to be back at Taos Youth Ballet and working with such a fun and dedicated group of dancers.
