About Taylor Gordon:

Taylor Gordon (AGMA/AGVA) is a professional dancer in NYC, where she has performed on some of the biggest stages of the dance world. Carving her own path as a freelancer, she works with a variety of companies & shows in effort to land as much stage time as possible. Her extensive ballet background has led to work in classical, contemporary, commercial, modern, and musical theater genres. Taylor recently performed at Carnegie Hall and toured to Japan, India, and Bali. Prior to that, in 2017 she danced at The Kennedy Center in Misty Copeland's Ballet Across America program with The Black Iris Project and in the show "Dancing Queen" with Spirit Productions.

She spent 4 seasons with The Radio City Christmas Spectacular and has performed at Lincoln Center with The Metropolitan Opera Ballet, Off-Broadway and national tour of Angelina Ballerina The Musical, internationally with Spirit Productions, TUI Cruises & Cirque Le Masque, at Jacob’s Pillow, and Dance Theater Workshop. She trained at Boston Ballet, The Rock School, and Ballet Academy East and has danced with Exit 12 Dance Company, American Swiss Ballet, Ballet for Young Audiences, and Felice Lesser Dance Theater among other concert companies. She appeared on PBS Great Performance at the Met Live in HD, MTV’s “Made,” The Today Show, and has been featured in Dance Magazine, Vanity Fair Online, The Huffington Post, and Dance Spirit. She currently teaches in NYC at The United Nations Ballet Club and was recently the first recipient of the Origin Dance Residency, teaching in Bali, Indonesia for a month. In 2017 she created ballet and musical theater dance programs in China (Shanghai & Hangzhou) and India (Hyderabad). She has guest taught at various studios in Tokyo and across the US and is eager to continue traveling and teaching. In New York, Taylor has assisted choreographer Jeremy McQueen in setting work on students at The American Ballet Theatre JKO School and The Ailey School and has substituted at Peridance and Gibney Dance. She spent 4 years on faculty of Third Street Music School and was a teaching assistant at Ballet Academy East NYC.

Taylor has guest taught ballet and musical theater in Florida, New Jersey, and Connecticut and has staged classical repertoire as assistant to master teacher Kat Wildish for the Performing in NY Showcase, for which she is Associate Director. She has also taught Dance History at the high school level for The School for Young Performers and the Ballet4Adults Certification Program.
