Registration Information
 
Program Registration is currently online only.  In person registrations are not being accepted at this time.
 
Registration for participants 18 years of age and younger, must be done by a parent or guardian. Participants must be registered, in order to participate in a class. No exceptions!
 
Please note: There are age requirements for most programs. Participant must be the required age in order to participate in that class. Any false information entered on registration form, will result in withdrawal from that class.
 
 
Program/special events flyers are distributed in both Dows Lane and Main Street Schools. If you do not have children attending these schools, visit our website @www.irvingtonny.gov or stop by the Recreation and Parks office.
 
Schedule: Programs follow the Irvington school holiday calendar. Some classes may be held on Superintendent Days. Cancellations/Inclement weather: The Recreation and Parks Department will follow the Irvington School schedule. Call the office or visit our website, for updates/information regarding delays and cancellations. When schools are delayed, morning classes may be cancelled. When schools have early release, afternoon classes will be cancelled. When schools are closed, classes will be cancelled. Makeups will be held at the end of the session.
 
Refunds: A full refund is granted if a program is cancelled by the Recreation Department. The Recreation Department reserves the right to cancel any program and issue the appropriate refunds due to low enrollment or whenever it is considered in the best interest of the Department. Refunds will not be issued from the point one week prior to a program start date or, in the case of youth sports, once teams are selected. Refunds will be considered prior to this point at the discretion of the Superintendent however a $25 processing fee will be retained by the Village in all cases. Camp refunds are outlined in the camp handbooks.
 
Accident Insurance: Accident insurance is not provided for participants’ activities. It is recommended that all participants obtain insurance to protect themselves and their children. Should an individual have an accident during a class or special event, he/she must submit a report to the Recreation Department within 24 hours of the incident. Participants enter programs at their own risk.
 
Community Bulletin: Any local groups or organizations interested in posting a sign on the bulletin board located on the top of Main Street, must obtain permission from the Superintendent, Joe Archino. Prior to ordering any signage, please contact Joe Archino at (914) 591-7736 or [email protected] to obtain approval and discuss sign dimensions and width. Their are new signs with updated size requirements. Please do not make sign until content has been approved. Approvals are not guaranteed.
