Bobcat Bulletin 10/6/25
Bobcats,
The team's annual Kings Island trip is one of the highlights of the year! Riding coasters and eating junk food just feels like the perfect way to end Summer and the best way possible to kick-off the Fall/Winter swim season!
1. CAC PENTATHLON MEET RESULTS:
The amusement park wasn't the only place where thrills were happening! Several Bobcats competed at the CAC Pentathlon! The "Swimmer of the Meet" is Ryleigh Smith! Every race she swam was a best time! And the least amount of time she dropped in a race was 6 seconds!!! Her performance was just brilliant so she will receive a custom BSC towel to celebrate it!
A special shout-out goes to these Bobcats who came in first place:
Dodge Gilders: 11-12 50 Back
Dani Ulloa: 11-12 50 Free, 50 Back, 50 Fly
Attached you'll find all of the team's results:) Congratulations to all of the swimmers for starting off the season on a high-note!
There is just one other meet to register for at this time! And it's deadline is FRIDAY! Make sure you get signed up!
You will register for the meet on the team 's website, https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/ohbsc/page/home. Click on the "Events" tab. From there look under "Team Events" and you'll see the list of all of the season's meets.
Next to the meets' name, you'll see a pink "Attend/Decline" button. Click on that button and let the coaches know if your child will be participating or not. This is EXTREMELY important as we need to know attendees for making relays!
You should NOT pick your child's meet events! Please allow the coaches to do this!
3. SPOOKTACULAR INVITATIONAL, VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
We are two weeks away from hosting this large event and only 4 parents have registered to help out! If your child is competing, you are expected to volunteer!
Please visit the team's website and declare for your volunteer position!
https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/ohbsc/page/home
Look under the "Events" tab. Scroll down to "Spooktacular Invitational" and click on the green "Job Sign-up" button.
There are still lots of roles to fill! Act quickly to secure the one you want!
4. PARENT ENGAGEMENT ACTIVITY: MEETAPALOOZA, OCT. 9:
ALL parents are encouraged to attend a parent meeting on Thursday, Oct. 9 at 6:15 PM to discuss swim meets! We'll provide the meats and cheeses and discuss volunteering. This is your chance to delve into the roles required to host a swim meet AND you'll get to forge deeper conncections with the other BSC parents!
Once you've dropped off your swimmer to practice, head upstairs and enjoy the conversation and refreshments!
