Bobcat Bulletin 11/24/25
Bobcats,
I'll begin by wishing everyone a VERY Happy Thanksgiving! The coaching staff is grateful for the opportunity to help your child learn valuable life lessons through the sport of swimming! Resiliency, commitment, dedication, hard work... those sklills will carry them far in life and we're thankful to be a small part of your child's journey!
Enjoy some time off with your friends and family this week and show appreciation for their part in your life!

1.OHIO SENIOR INVITATIONAL- MEET RESULTS:
Twelve of our high school-aged swimmers traveled to Bowling Green State University over the weekend for a prelims/finals championship-style meet. Athletes raced in the morning and the fastest 40 swimmers earned a spot at finals in the evening where they competed for team points.
The Bobcats absolutely crushed the meet! With a dedicated focus on race execution, they were able to set 14 new team records! Considering that this is only the mid-point in the season, you can imagine how excited the group was!
Congratulations to these athletes for their record-breaking performances:
Katelin Fridrich: 17-18 Girls 500 Free, 400 IM, 1000 Free
Violet Meckstroth: 15-16 Girls 400 IM
Delaney Snodgrass: 15-16 Girls 500 Free, 200 Free, 1650 Free
Levi Morr: 15-16 Boys 500 Free, 200 Free, 200 Back, 1650 Free
Lucas Watkins: 13-14 Boys 100 Breast, 400 IM, 200 Breast
The "Swimmer of the Meet" is Lucas Watkins. His improvement over the weekend was just incredible! He dropped over 70 seconds with the largest improvement coming in the 1650 Free where he dropped over 31 seconds! Because of his fast weekend of swimming, Lucas will receive a new BSC towel to honor his performance! Way to go, Lucas!
2. BOBCAT SWIM CLUB FOOD DRIVE:
Today is the FINAL day to make donations for the team's food drive. At last count on Friday, there was a fierce battle raging between Black and Gold! Remember, the training group that donates the most items will be treated to an ice cream sundae party! So, raid those cupboards and let's fill those donation boxes!
1st place- Gold
2nd place- Black
3rd place- Silver
4th place- Green
5th plance- Bronze and White
Please consider supporting our team's initiative to support our community!
You will register for the meet on the team 's website, https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/ohbsc/page/home. Click on the "Events" tab. From there look under "Team Events" and you'll see the invitational listed.
Next to the meets' name, you'll see a pink "Attend/Decline" button. Click on that button and let the coaches know if your child will be participating or not. This is EXTREMELY important as we need to know attendees for making relays!
You should NOT pick your child's meet events! Please allow the coaches to do this! Just let the coaches know which days you can attend!
