1. WEATHER CANCELLATIONS:
It's December so that means nasty weather is on the way! The forecast for tomorrow is calling for snow and ice. The team will conduct practices unless the university closes the aquatic center. You will be notified via email and social media if there are ever any changes to our schedule. Please keep your fingers crossed that Mother Nature goes easy on us!
2. SNOWBALL INVITATOINAL: VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:
Today is the final day to register for the Snowball Invitational that we are hosting at the OUAC! Entries will be accpeted until 9:00 PM TONIGHT! Don't miss out on this opportunity to race in Athens!
On Dec. 13-15 we will be hosting the Snowball Invitational at the OUAC. Teams from all across Ohio and West Virginia will be in Athens for the weekend and we will need to roll out the red carpet for these coaches, athletes, and officials. Because this is a championship-style meet, more volunteers are needed to fill both the AM and PM sessions.
The "Job Signup" is now active on the team's website. Please get on ASAP and select your spot before all of the good ones are taken!
3. MEET REGISTRATION:
Our first meet after the holidays will be held in Dayton. Entries are now open for the Dayton Raider Invitational. Please declare your intent to attend on the team's website. There aren't many competitions available between the first of the year and the championship meets, so don't miss out on this opportunity to race!
You will register for the meet on the team 's website, https://www.gomotionapp.com/team/ohbsc/page/home. Click on the "Events" tab. From there look under "Team Events" and you'll see the invitational listed.
Next to the meets' name, you'll see a pink "Attend/Decline" button. Click on that button and let the coaches know if your child will be participating or not. This is EXTREMELY important as we need to know attendees for making relays!
You should NOT pick your child's meet events! Please allow the coaches to do this! Just let the coaches know which days you can attend!
