Sarah Smith

Please help us welcome Coach Sarah!!
Sarah is not an unfamiliar face to some around this area. Taking a break from the Cheer World for a few seasons; Coach Sarah has returned! Sarah comes from a long and diverse history of competitive cheer, including cheering competitively herself. She has 18+ years of coaching experience that spreads across all levels and age groups. She is a Paid Summit bid recipient, and has had many teams that were Summit finalists. Over the years she has helped lead her teams to multiple National Championship awards and specialty and stunt awards. More so recently, she helped to lead our very first MVP team to our first Summit bid within a short time!
Sarah focuses on technique while taking pride in knowing and understanding her athletes. She specializes in flyer training, stunt training and loves to be creative with choreography and routine clean up.
During the day Sarah works full time with Cincinnati Children's hospital as an Analyst. When she isn't working, she loves to use her creative side to be crafty and spend time with her family and dogs!

Jess Kuhn

MVP is beyond excited to announce Jess Kuhn as the newest member of our coaching staff! Jess comes to us with 18 years of experience and is excited to share her wealth of knowledge in both cheerleading and tumbling! Throughout the years, she has coached all age groups across many different levels. Jess focuses on knowing and understanding the rules of cheerleading, all while staying current on the scoresheet and routine requirements for success. She has led many teams to victory, including but not limited to Jamfest Super National Champions, Top 2 finishes at Cheersport Atlanta, Top 3 finishes at Summit, Top 20 finishes at The Cheerleading Worlds, and many more!!
Stunting may be one of Jess' favorite areas of coaching and she takes pride in focusing on the execution of each skill. She also has a strong belief in the importance of proper progression of tumbling skills to form a foundation for your child's long term success. She has been lucky enough to learn from some amazing coaches from all over the U.S. and can't wait to share her expertise with MVP.

 

Alicia Webster

My name is Alicia Webster. I am a wife and mom of two. My daughter Lyndsey (Lou) is 15 my son Jaxon is 8. I’m on the PTC at Fairfield West elementary and a board member of FYAA the local youth football league in Fairfield. I cheered sideline in both middle school and high school as well as competitive cheer. I coached 3 seasons of sideline cheer and I’m headed into my 9th season of all star cheer. My time coaching has included Tiny Exhibition, Tiny Novice, Tiny Prep Level 1, Mini Level 1, Youth Level 1, Youth Level 2, and Junior Prep Level 1 who won GMCE Spring Fling D2 National Rings in 2019. I ran the Preschool Tumbling Program at Stellar Revolution Elite. We worked on form, balance, as well as their coordination and technique. I have taught beginner to level 2 tumbling classes. My main focus is technique and proper progression.

 

Katie Scranton

Hi my name is Katie Scranton! I have been in the cheer industry for 16 years. I competed all star cheer for 10 years and have coached Level 1 all star cheerleading for 6 years at TUA. During coaching, I was a college cheerleader at Xavier University for 4 years. I specialize in all level 1 tumbling and flyer classes. I am so excited for this journey at MVP and can’t wait to get the season started and meet new people!

 

Lori Luttrell

Hi! My name is Lori Luttrell and I am so excited for the upcoming season at MVP. I am married to my wonderful husband of 14 years, Adam and we have two children, Leah (13) and Alec (9). I have over 25 years of experience working with children of all ages. I have coached sideline cheer and for the past 3 seasons have coached all-star teams. I have coached Tiny Exhibition, Tiny Elite Cheer and Tiny Hip Hop. My most recent Tiny Elite Cheer team won Cheermax Sweeps and Apex Florida Finals. My Tiny Hip Hop team was #1 in the Open Championship Rankings and also won Apex Florida Finals. I also coach our preschool tumbling class and love working with the littlest athletes. I specialize in Tiny teams and level 1 tumbling skills, but am working towards growing my knowledge and skill base in other levels. I enjoy getting to know all of the athletes in the gym and making connections with the families. I look forward to an amazing 2023-2024 season at MVP! 

 

 

Taylor Nisius

Hi!! My name is Taylor and I coach the hip hop teams at MVP! I danced for 7 years, competed at The Dance Worlds 6 times, and this will be my 5th season coaching! I am so excited to get this season started!!

 

 

Lainie Adams

I am Coach Lainie. I cheered for 10 years, including Allstar and School Cheer. I have been coaching ever since-this is my 4th year as an Allstar coach. When I’m not at the gym, I work full time as an Ophthalmologic Technician, shorter terms, “Eye technician”. I have had the opportunity to learn from the best coaches around and enjoy learning everything about cheer that I can. I hope to help every athlete be the best they can be by applying everything that I have learned.

 

Misty Rogers

Hi! I am Coach Misty and I am so excited to be a part of MVP! I fell in love with the sport when I was just 6 years old. Over the years I cheered for Hamilton rec, middle school, and high school - winning Nationals all 3 years of high school cheer, then eventually allstar cheer and dance. I was also a competitive gymnast for 10 years. I began dancing at the age of 3. I danced competitively for 8 years in studio dance and allstar dance. I competed in areas of acro, jazz, pom, and hip hop. I was also a member of the University of Cincinnati dance team. I have coached for 15+ years across all age groups and levels 1-5, specializing in levels 1 and 2. I have had the opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches in the industry over the many years. I have such a passion for these sports and feel blessed that I get to share that with the kids. One of my greatest rewards is watching the kids learn and grow in a sport that we share a love for. I am looking forward to the new season and new adventure with MVP! 💛🖤

 

 

Kellie McClain

Hi my name is Kellie and I run the front desk at MVP. I worked at TUA for the last few years, taking attendance, checking athletes in, and making sure people are where they need to be. I am a dance mom and former cheer mom. I love spending time with my family. I am a wife, mom, stepmom, and grandma. I am looking forward to this new adventure and I pride myself with knowing every athlete by their name!! Can’t wait to see all of our returning athletes and welcome our new athletes.

 

Keegan Baker

Hey y’all my name is Keegan, I am a NCA college national champion, I have cheered for the 16x national champion Navarro college, and the University of Kentucky. I have cheered on teams ranging from level 3 to level 7.
This last year I have been apart of the TUA family and now I am so excited to be brought on for MVP! I have a passion for teaching the next generation skills and attitude that will make them successful in cheer, college, and in life.
Due to my history in cheer I am super excited to work with athletes and develop skills in all categories rather it be group or coed partner stunting to all tumbling skills ranging from all levels. Looking forward to meeting everyone and if you see me say hi! 

 

Xavier Brown

Hey I’m Xavier Brown I’m pumped to start coaching at MVP ⭐️🖤 I’ve coached and competed for the past 18 years. I started cheerleading when I was 15 years old, ever since then I’ve been to worlds 5 times and I’ve obtained 1 college national championship! My favorite parts of cheer would be tumbling and stunting. My favorite color is green. My off brand hobbies are very simple, stay at home with the family, video games , or making music.

 

Hailey Atkinson

Hello my name is Hailey Atkinson and I’m eager to start my journey with MVP!!
I am from Massachusetts and moved to Cincinnati in 2022. I was a competitive cheerleader for 17 years competing at worlds in 2017 and 2022. I also attended the very first summit as a level 3 and 4.2 athlete! All star cheerleading has always been a safe space for me to learn life lessons and foster my passion for the sport. I’ve had the opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches from the east coast and Midwest.
As a coach there are 6 important skills/attributes i strive to foster in my athletes…
Accountability, respect, work ethic, selflessness, confidence, and perseverance.
I believe these skills are not only vital for a successful team but also amazing life skills to learn and apply!
