RECITAL CAMPS

To “finish” out our year ~ each dance class will have their own Recital Camp during June 2020. There will be 2 Phases with these camps. Phase 1 will be an appointed time to pick-up your costume/tight this weekend May 30 & 31, before official camp date. Phase 2 will be a designated recital camp based on class dance held in June. We ask all who participate to stay home if feeling sick and abide by MDDU Health & Safety plan, in accordance with CDC guidelines. There will be a $30 camp fee for each recital dance camp attended. With this fee your camper will receive 2-hours of camp that will include: arrival in costume, individual & spaced out group digital photo, recorded recital dance, recorded finale dance, photos emailed home, recital video link emailed home (at later date), and camper will leave with costume/tight, recital t-shirt, recital program book, & a fun time of memories and laughter and a little bit of normalcy! 2019-2020 MDDU dancers are not required to attend recital camp. This is not mandatory and is optional for all MDDU dancers. This is our way of “finishing out our dance year during this unprecedented time.” We hope this camp will help fulfill a little of what “was lost” this season for our dancers, give them something to look forward to, a little bit of normalcy in their life, and a lot of laughs, memories, and fun ~ oh and some dancing, too! Registration for camp will be via email (but is not necessary ~ we will plan on all!). So please let us know, via email, if you dancer will not be attending recital camp.
*We can not refund costume fees. Costumes are yours to keep forever! Dress-up; Play-time; Halloween! Pictures! :)

PHASE 1 ~ Costume/Tight pick-up
*if you are not partaking in camps, you may still pick-up your costume/tights at your class time listed below, however Recital T-shirt and Recital Program will not be available at this time. So you may wait to pick-up all together, or we will deliver to non-camper attenders at a later time. Thank you!
COSTUME/TIGHT PICK-UP WILL BE HELD OUTSIDE OF MDDU DANCE STUDIO IN THE BACK PARKING LOT. Please pull-up in your car during your allotted time (see below), and Miss Molly will hand you your costume/tights and note. Please do not be early ~ be within the time!!!! Be smart drivers

PHASE 2 ~ RECITAL CAMP!!!!
Each dance class will have their own Recital Camp!!!! Woot woot!!! *We know vacations may be planned, we apologize if this is scheduled during vacation time. Please let us know and maybe we can still do something!!
Each camp is $30.00 & this fee includes:
- 2-hour Camp
- Individual Dance Costume Photo / Group spaced out Photo (emailed at later date)
- Recorded Recital Dance & Finale Dance (Virtual link emailed out later this summer)
- A little bit of normalcy, a lot of laughs, memories, and fun ~ oh and some dancing ;)
Each camper should arrive IN:
- At the front door at camp time, only dancers past front door ~ Miss Molly will be there to receive campers
- Costume & Tights (no cover-up, nothing else!! Literally just wearing costume, tights & needed dance shoes)
- Dance shoes on <— Crazy, Right!?! But yes, (CI and CII need to bring labeled dance bag with dance shoes)
- All female dancers = Hair In HIGH BUN ~ all hair slicked back as best can, def. out of face!
- Makeup Is fine (or not, whatever you feel comfy)
- No parents allowed
Each camper will leave with:
- What they wore there (costume/tights/dance shoes)
- Recital T-shirt On
- Recital Program Book in hand
- “Little Dancers” will be released to parent one at a time at front door in Alphabetical Order ~ this includes: Twinkletoes, Preschool, Kinderdance, Combo I, Combo II. Elementary & Up will be monitored at front door for pick-up time. Please note: NO Parents/Guardians/Sibling, etc will be allowed in Dance Studio. Front door will lock after arrival of last camper and remained locked until camp time is over.
Please NOTE:
- Camper will not be able to receive costume if there is a balance due on account. Check online GoMotion account for balances, as well as emails will be sent out to those that owe. All past-due monies must be paid in full to receive costumes/attend camp.
- $30 per dance camp attendance will be billed to your account at registration. If you already paid by: paying ahead, year in full, credit card charged for “May”, that will be applied to camp balance. If more remains in your account, that can be credited to next year or refunded.
- Camp payments can be paid at GoMotion account or check handed to Miss Molly day of camp.
- If your normal monthly fee is less than the total of $30 per camp, you will only owe your monthly fee. You will not owe if camp fee exceeds normal monthly fee. *some people’s normal monthly fee is higher than camp fee, you will save money then and only owe $30 per camp. This sentence only applies to those that are in multiple classes and their monthly fee exceeds multiple recital camp fees.
