Swim Team Updates

Good afternoon Stars Families,

In this message, you will find the practice schedule for this week, information regarding our next dual meet this Saturday and information regarding our Reindeer Games held at Liberty High School on December 19th.

Our next dual meet will be at Lehman Intermediate School vs Pocono Family YMCA on Saturday, December 6th. You must declare your swimmer’s availability to attend by Wednesday night to ensure we have enough time to complete our meet lineups. Swimmers must arrive at the pool at 1:15pm. The meet will start promptly at 2:10pm.

Also, on December 19th at Liberty High School, we will be having our 3rd annual reindeer games. For those of you that are not familiar with our Reindeer games, we play a series of Christmas games in the pool for an hour or so and then we have a hot chocolate party in the cafeteria with additional food and games for the kids. This has been a successful event the last few years and it takes everyone working together to make it possible.

With that being said, if you are interested in helping with the planning process of the Reindeer Games/hot chocolate party, please send a Band message to Lauri Barlow.

If your swimmer would like to participate in the Reindeer Games and will be staying for the post Reindeer games festivities, they must declare their attendance on Sports Engine. If you do not declare your child’s attendance on Sports Engine, your child will not be allowed to attend this event.

Finally, we are collecting donation items for the cancer survivor group. A screenshot of the items that can be donated is attached in this post. If you donate items, they do not need to be wrapped. Please message Silvia Dayan in Band if you have any questions.
