Coach
Hi Cheer Families! I am Tina Casani, cofounder and one of our coaches for Wiss Cheer, certified with both USA Cheer and NAYS. I’ve worked for a large healthcare company for the past 32 years and have an 12 year old daughter, Vanessa, at Wissahickon Middle School. I currently reside in Blue Bell with my husband, daughter, and 2 very crazy dogs. I cheered most of my young adult life, having my mom as a team parent and assistant coach. I now get to fulfill my dream of doing the same with my own daughter.
My passion for working with kids and my daughters love for cheer was the push we needed to bring more awareness to the sport. With so many challenges kids face today, the call for more structure and building their confidence was evident. Now entering our 4th season, we are super excited to continue this mission for our team and the community.

Hi everyone! My name is Dana and I’m so excited to be a part of the Wiss Cheer organization as one of our coaches! I am a former cheerleader for Wissahickon High School and Middle School. Although I did not cheer in college, I still found myself paying attention to the cheerleaders and their stunting, rather than the actual sports game 😆.
I currently work for Lower Merion School District and waitress part time at Phil’s Tavern (stop by and say hi!). I am a born & raised local and in my free time you can find me out and about exercising, taking a walk or hike, trying new restaurants, binge watching a new show, & being with family and friends.

Hi Everyone! My name is Natalie Pileggi, I live in Blue Bell with my husband and 3 children. I have been a teacher for 22 years, currently in the Methacton School District as a reading specialist. During my 8 years as a cheerleader, I competed in elementary and high school, and was an All Star cheerleader for 2 years. I have had the privilege of coaching my daughter's youth cheer team for the past 4 years. As a dedicated and enthusiastic coach, my goal is to help our cheerleaders grow to become confident athletes!

Nicole Penna comes from an amazing cheer background. Nikki coached HS cheerleading teams for 10 years, creating routines that lead her teams to nationals and states. Nikki decided college was where she wanted to continue coaching and has been with Villanova University for 8 years. Nicole loves creating that game day experience for her team. She also helps create their nationals routine which they compete in Orlando Florida and have made it to finals TOP 5!

Darla has a very experienced background of competitive gymnastics, dance and cheerleading along with sports medicine and health & PE. She has been coaching gymnastics since 2004 and was even Varsity Captain for her high school cheer squad, which was Wissahickon! Darla has a passion for kids and wants nothing more than to see them succeed, both physically and mentally, all while having a good time. Darla is a jokester, loves to laugh and is guaranteed to put a smile on your face
