BLIZZARD BLAST THIS WEEKENDS, ALL HANDS NEEDED - As hosts of this weekend's Blizzard Blast swim meet our Carson Tigersharks will be responsible to staff virtually all of the jobs and duties of running the meet. Thank you to the many who have signed up and who have already helped us prepare. We will need all hands this weekend and ask families who did not sign up to be prepared to lend a hand at the meet, and at a minimum to act as lane timer while your child is competing.

TRAINING SCHEDULE CHANGES -  There will be no training this Friuday Jan 12 or Saturday Jan 13th due to the Blizzard Blast swim meet. Also, there will be no training on Monday Jan 14th due to the MLK Holiday. Please be sure to consult the TRAINING CALENDAR on our website at any time to see when we will be taking days off, or when there will be practice time changes (or doubles offered).

PACIFIC SWIMMING ALL-STARS APPLICATIONS AVAILABLE -  Each year Pacific Swimming runs a 14/under Zone All Star Meet ("ZAM"). Each Zone selects an All-Star team from it's pool of applicants for this meet. The meet offers a "select" team experince where athletes from different clubs come together for a special select team. The ZAM meet location rotates annually throughout the zones. Each year athletes aged 9+ from all zone teams travel, lodge and eat together as a team. Athletes aged nine years and older who are selected will meet and join the select team on Saturday March 2nd 2024 and will attend the ZAM banquet and stay in a hotel with all of the other ZAM teams. Athletes aged 8/under are invited to the banquet but do not travel/lodge with the team and instead are chaperoned by their parents. In 2024 the ZAM will be hosted by Zone 4 (our zone) and will be held in Carson City on Sunday March 3rd. Athlete and Chaperone applications are available online HERE and are due January 21st.. If you need more information please ask your coach.
