CENTRAL CALIFORNIA SWIMMING AGE GROUP LONG COURSE CHAMPIONSHIP RECAP - Seven Tigersharks attended this LSC Championship Meet (Siena B., Derick H,. Chase L., Skye M., Evie M, Emily N. and Ruth T.) Our Tigersharks performed extremely well with everyone logging new personal record(s) at the meet. Most of our athletes made it on to an "A" final heat (Championship heat) and brought home medals for their great swims. Times approximately "BB" qualify for this meet - we will be striving to have more of our athletes be eligible for the short course version of the meet in February 2026.

WESTERN ZONE SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIPS RECAP - Five Tigersharks are presently in Clovis CA for this Senior level prelims/finals Championship Meet (Ewan K., Hannah I. Mackenzie P., Brynn R and Larkin R.). Our athletes are swimming great and each of them has achieved new personal record(s) at the meet. Congratulations to everyone who made it to finals! Hannah I. made it to the "A" final in the 100M butterfly!. The group is being led at this meet by Coach Cassidy. There are not enough words to describe how grateful Tigersharks are for the work Coach Cassidy has been doing with the Senior group this summer - both at this meet and all summer long in the weights/conditioning gym.

HIGH COUNTRY CHAMPIONSHIPS AUGUST 1-3 - This meet is currently underway. We have twenty-four (24) Tigersharks participating. Those swimming on Friday and Saturday did great! Congrats to Finalists (so far) Emily N., Chase L, Jayden L. and Abigail D. on making it to finals and dropping time times from their preliminary swims. Our 11/unders are also swimming great at this meet and will surely be bringing home lots of awards. ! More recap on this meet will be coming in our next "news".

THANK YOU'S TO ROBBIE AND COLE - Deep appreciation and thanks to Coach Robbie (Bronze) and Coach Cole (Gold) for your service to our team and in leading our athletes in your groups in their swimming growth. We will miss you! We wish you all the best for the future! We hope to see you again sometime at the Carson Aquatic Facility or cheering on Tigersharks.

NEW COACHING - Welcome to Coach Erica Fischer who will start coaching with Tigersharks on August 18th when she will lead the Gold group and help out with coaching other parts of the team. Erica is an alumus of the Carson Tigersharks and still holds Tigersharks team records! We are also happy to announce that Coach Mara Spencer will be adding the Bronze group, along with Silver group to her coaching responsibilities this upcoming Fall.

LAST TWILIGHT OF SUMMER '25 - Tuesday August 5th will be the final twilight meet of the summer.  Any Tigerhsarks athletes are welcome to participate.  Signup online HERE before 11:59pm on Monday August 4th.

SUMMER VACATION - Following our summer championship meets Tigersharks will take will take a break from training August 4th through 17th.  M-Th Practices will resume on August 18th.  When we come back our fall will be focused on "BB" times and better, committing to training and being on time for training.  We will be expecting athletes in our competitive groups to have their own equipment for use during training this way will be using our time training instead of looking for equiment to borrow,
 
TIGERSHARKS KIDS TRIATHALON   - August 23rd.  Save the date!  Tigersharks are hosting our Capital City Kids Triathalon again in 2025.  This event supports our team and gives us exposure in the community.  We'd like every Tigershark to either participate or volunteer at the event, (or both).    We are asking all families who are available to help volunteer to help make this event a success.  Sign up at the pool office.
