TRAINING SCHEDULES - Our November 2025 Training Calendar is posted on our team website HERE.

OCTOBER 30 TWILIGHT MEET - Our twilight meets introduce our League swimmers to competion in a setting intended for learning and fun. Our Bronze, Silver, Gold and sometimes Senior athletes participate for practice and as examples for the league swimmers. VIEW RESULTS HERE

RUNNING OF THE SHARKS - THANK YOU! - Our annual organization fundraiser the Running of the Sharks was held on Nevada Day, October 31, 2025 from 10am-1pm. Thirty-five of our athletes swam laps for donations.  We are grateful to them for helping our team.Even if you didn't swim you can still help, donations tied to this event are being accepted through Friday November 14th.

BLIZZARD BLAST MEET, CARSON HOSTED - SAVE the DATES. We need you and your athletes for our Tigersharks hosted Blizzard Blast swim meet January 16 through 18th, 2026. Of course we want to see your athletes swim in OUR meet and we need PARENTS to volunteer in a variety of roles to help the meet run smoothly and successfully. We are asking for 100% particiapation from our athletes and parents.

12/UNDER OFFICIALS NEEDED  - Earlier in 2025 our Zone 4 of Pacific Swimming passed a rule stating that clubs not providing the required number of officials at a meet will have their athletes swim as 'Exhibition' [for time only, no finals or awards eligibility]. Presently Tigersharks under twelve years of age face the biggest chance of our club failing to meet this requirement at anyt given meet. If you have athlete(s) under the age of twelve please consider becomming an official. Learn about how to become an official HERE or talk to Coach Jim who can help or simply connect you with a Tigersharks official that can tell you about the experience.

FALL REMINDERS   -    Our fall and  the entire competitive year will be focused on the path of pursuit of "B" and "BB" times and better, committing to training and being on time for training.

Our 2025-2026 competition EVENTS schedule of meets can be found on our team website HERE.

Please make sure to have your athlete bring their TRAINING GEAR as assigned by roster group (Bronze, Silver,...Sr.) to each practice. We will no longer be supplying fins at the facility. Team fins will be retired as they reach the end of their useful life. Kickboards borrowed from the CAF should be returned after each practice. All Senior level athletes should have a snorkel in their gear bag.

A scheduled pool maintenance closure may occur at the Carson Aquatic Facility in early December will affect our practices for approximately two weeks.  We are working on a plan to relocate temporarily or conduct alternate activities during the closure.

General Questions, issues, etc?  Please email Coach Jim.
