REGULAR SCHOOL-YEAR TRAINING RESUMES - Our January 2026 Training Calendar is posted on our team website HERE. On January 5th we are resuming our regular school-year training schedule with most practices in the afternoons. We will shift our summer training schedule back to mornings for most groups at the end of the school year.

OUR NEXT USA MEET, JAN. 16TH IS CARSON HOSTED - We need you and your athletes for our Tigersharks hosted Blizzard Blast swim meet January 16 through 18th, 2026.   This meet is one of our team's key fundraisers and helps support Tigersharks operations.
 
BLIZZARD BLAST ENTRY DEADLINE IS WEDNESDAY 01/07/26 - Please act soon as the athlete's entry deadline is 11:59pm on Wednesday January 7th. If your athlete is already signed up, thank you! If you are having any difficulty with entries please make sure to use the help links and/or let coach Jim know ASAP so he can try to help. No entries can be accepted after the deadline passes.
 
ALL HANDS NEEDED FOR BLIZZARD BLAST   - We need our athletes to swim and our parents to volunteer in a variety of roles to help the meet run smoothly and successfully. We strongly encourage 100% particiapation from all athletes and families. Please signup to volunteer - details and links are below.

SIGNUP ONLINE NOW TO VOLUNTEER FOR OUR MEET - Our Blizzard Blast Job signup sheet is now online. It's easy to signup when signed in via the app or when signed on to our team website. Use the following links for help/instructions: desktop/laptop; or mobile app. Huge thanks to those who have already signed up!

DDST VALENTINES MEET - This meet February 6th through 8th remains open for online entries on FastSwims.com.  Entries close Wednesday January 28th.

SEEKING COMMITMENTS FOR UPCOMING CHAMPIONSHIP MEETS  - "BB" and faster age group athletes and Senior athletes are asked to declare their intent to participate in upcoming championship meets: CCS Age Group Championships (Fresno), Rosevile,CA SCY Sectionals and Western Zone Sr. Championships, Mesa AZ. We need to know interest levels in these meets to confirm there is enough interest for the club to send coach(es). Please declare online at each meet's EVENT PAGE.

CARSON AQUATIC FACILITY MAINTENANCE & REPAIRS - The Carson Aquatic Facility ("CAF") behind the walls plumbing repairs are now complete. Regrettably we've learned there will be another maintenance project at our pool in the coming months. Most likely in February. We will update you about that when we know more. For now we are happy to be back in our home pool!

MASTERS NEWS - 1) Our January 26' Training calendar is posted HERE be sure to scroll to the bottom of the file to see Matsers Squad. 2) 2026 USMS current registrations are required to swim with us on Saturdays. Please renew your USMS 2026 registration and when completed we would appreciate if you would let coach Jim know. 3) Coach Jim would welcome your help if you would like to help out at Blizzard Blast 2026 just let him know. 4) Please be sure to read the paragraph above regarding getting those pool filters that are taking up so much deck space installed.
