Oct Meet Update, Pacific Swimming Voting, and other awesomeness
Hey PASA-DKS Families!
Update to Oct 11-12 Swim Meet
We were informed two days ago by the Z1N chair that PASA has been re-assigned to the SSF meet in Pacifica instead of DACA the weekend of Oct 11-12. Due to this change, we have decided to attend a Block Party meet at Fletcher with two other PASA sites (DZS and LAGCC). This meet will be sanctioned so all times will count. We will send out a meet sheet shortly. Please DO NOT sign up for the DACA or SSF on fastswims, we will run sign ups for this meet through our team website. NO PASA-DKS Coaches will attend the DACA or SSF meets. This Meet will be Oct 11-12 in the mornings for Junior 1 through Gold Groups. Exact timing will be sent in a meet sheet shortly.

Safe Sport for Parents, Kids and Youth Athletes
PASA is working on getting our organization Safe Sport Certified. In order to do so, we need our parents and athletes to take an online Safe Sport training class.
-
Youth Athletes: Take the appropriate course based on their age as soon as possible:
-
For athletes age 5 to 12, the course is called "SafeSport for Kids"
-
For athletes age 13 to 17, the course is called "SafeSport for Youth Athletes (13-17)"
-
Parents: Take the "Parent’s Guide to Misconduct in Sport" located here.
PASA Pride Days!
On the third Wednesday of every month, we'd like all our athletes to show their PASA PRIDE by wearing their 2025/2026 PASA shirt to school. Don't forget to take pictures and post them with hashtags #PASAPride and #GoPASA. If you don't have social media, email the pictures to your coach for them to post. First PASA Pride day is next Wednesday, September 17.
Next week’s email will include final t shirt pick up, USA Registration Info, and Calendar Updates including 9/19 Candy Meet, 9/20 Super League Meet, etc.
Thank you,
PASA-DKS Coaches
