2012 sc Far Westerns Championships

  Congratulations to this year’s Far Westerns Championship team: Maria Carlson, Stephanie Doi, Thomas Gjerde, Jason Lau, Tyler Lu, Claire Suen, and Natalie Tang! 

            Stephanie swam finals for the 100 free and 100 fly, taking 8^th and 7^th, respectively – and she broke the minute barrier for the first time in the 100 fly! Maria Carlson made finals in the 100 free, taking 10^th place with one of her best times of the year. Best times came from Thomas Gjerde, Tyler Lu, and Claire Suen.

            Congratulations to all of our Far Westerns swimmers on a great meet! Keep up the hard work, because with the end of Far Westerns comes long course season – and a whole lot more opportunities to swim fast!
