Junior Olympics Championships results/14 and UN
TVA swimmers took the weather in stride to have some great performances at the Winter JO’s in Morgan Hill. It was the first JO’s for all of our participants and it sure will be memorable. As the rain kept coming, TVA kept performing. Cole Reznick competed in 6 events (100 IM, 50 BRST, 100 BRST, 50 FLY, 50 BK, 500 FREE) with 5 best times posted and 1 new Far Western time. Taylor Rohovit was 4 for 4 with best times (100 BRST, 50 BRST, 50 FREE, 100 IM). She also posted 2 new Far Western times. Ryan Ridosko also competed in his first JO’s in 4 events (500 FREE, 200 FREE, 100 BRST, 200 IM) and had 1 best time at the meet. Also participating for TVA in individual events were Tessie Scavone (200 BK) and Sophia Krafcik (50 FR)
TVA participated in relays as well with Gianna Paden, Sabrina Chiu, Erika Yang, Paige Reynolds, Gwyneth Wong, and Lindsay Salmon joining us for the relays. It was a first time for these swimmers as well.
Winter JO’s was a great meet for TVA. They showed great resilience through the weather. Their hard work and dedication is paying off. Looking forward to the new year and great swimming!
