June Highlights

BISC finished 4th out of 12 teams at Apple Capital.

Rylee DuPont led all BISC swimmers in point scoring, earning 92 points over 13 events. Coming in right behind her with 90 points was Tessa Hurguy as a 6 event Champion (1500m FR, 100 FR, 50 BRST, 400 FR, 200 FR & 100 FL). BISC had several event Champions: Wyatt Livingston (100m BRST, 200 BRST, where he also made his first Sectional Cut:) Rob Nakhuda (100m BK, 50 FR) Ian Letson (400 IM), Wyatt Majors (50m BRST), Aria Michael (200 FLY)  and the Boys 13 & over 400m FREE relay (Ed, Sota, Ian, Rob) Several swimmers got their LC Championship cuts as well.

Most Bluefins achieved personal best times including: JJ Borovsky, June Brown, William Browning, Nora Corelis, Charlotte Cox, Margot Crawford, Rylee Dupont, Emme Feldman, Jonathan Fort, Lukas Fort, Chloe Frederickson, Cait Herten, Tessa Hurguy, Sota Inoue, Surya Jain, Lola Jasperson, Aiden Johnson, Jay Kowren, Bailey LeMaster-Donahue, Ian Letson, Fiona Livingston, Wyatt Livinston, Olivia Longridge, Wyatt Majors, Rose Mooallem, Mika Moskin, Ed Nakhuda, Rob Nakhuda, Tej Pal, Emma Pocekovic, June Reeves, Lilly Rehder, Skylar Richardson, Bradley Roloff, Sydney Roloff, Desmond Shutt, Olivia Tebo, Annelies Visser, Winston Williams, Maya Wolf, and Harrison Younger. 

All efforts by each BISC swimmer attending were valued and needed to beat out KISU on the last day to finish in 4th. Many thanks go out to all BISC parents who volunteered to time or officiate at the meet. Kudos to the Livingston and Pocekovic families for keeping us caffeinated and blood sugar elevated over those marathon days. 🙂Well done Bluefins!
