November wrap-up Update

Coaches notes:

Championship season is upon us. It’s time to RACE! We want to end 2024 with fast swims. The hay is in the barn and our swimmer’s should be able to step up and feel confident for their races.

Meet Highlights:

Fall Age Group Invitational @ Mary Wayte Pool on Mercer Island.
After the Bomb Cyclone that passed through Western Washington days before the meet, causing massive power outages across the area. We were very thankful that the meet would still take place, but the challenges seemed to continue. Thank you BISC families who worked together to handle a less than optimal/ desirable situation in the spectator seating, thank you to our swimmers who went with the flow and warmed up in short periods of time and with other teams and made the best of a challenging atmosphere. Way to adjust.

We had several swimmers make PNS Champs cuts or add new events to their line up: William Browning, Surya Jain, Louis McKibbin, Spencer Slowik and Jonathan Fort. Swimmers who swam personal best times included: Bennett Atchison, JJ Borovsky, Kyler Boydon, June Brown, William, Abby Cimprich, Margot Crawford, Rylee DuPont, Lena Everett, Emme Feldman, Jonathan, Chloe Frederickson, Romy Greer, Tessa Hurguy, Surya, Brooklyn Jarmuz, Lola Jasperson, Aiden Johnson, Larry Killigrew, Bailey LeMaster-Donahue, Ian Letson, Fiona Livingston, Wyatt Livingston, Olivia Longridge, Hayden Ludwig, Wyatt Majors, Zoe McFarland, Louis, Aria Michael, Rose Mooallem, Mika Moskin, Tej Pal, Emma Pocekovic, Natalie Ramey, June Reeves, Lily Rehder, Harper Rich, Mila Rich, Skylar Richardson, Bradley Roloff, Sydney Roloff, Oren Screen, Spencer, Alexander St. Cyr and Moses Wang. BISC finished 4th out of 8 teams in attendance. 31 swimmers scored points! Well done Bluefins. Ribbons were placed in your swimmer’s folders by the Ray pool.
